Now that’s just simply not true.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps was ■■■■■■■ fantastic.
… Nuzzles gently
God I missed you.
Somehow the most surprising thing to happen in the last 36 hours.
Here’s a dumb question - if a candidate runs unopposed, what’s a good number of “write in” votes that tel the party “hey maybe we should have ■■■■■■■ put someone on this ■■■■■■■ ticket”?
I’m not sure if it’s dumb, but that’s not really quite how that works. And honestly, it’s more often that there are candidates with no real chance to win. Contrastingly, I see a lot of local, often non-partisan races without sufficient candidates.
Regardless, to answer the question more directly, I’d presume it’d vary by distrct/what office.
The one I’m thinking about is Morgan Griffith in my own 9th district of VA.
Don’t get me wrong - we were probably going to go red.
But 6% write in against a candidate who ran unopposed feels like maybe we should have had a name with a D next to it on the ballot.
On my lunch break at work. No way I’m reading 30+ posts. I’m guessing it’s more of the same?
As a side note : I take great exception to the disparity of reporting. CBC says one thing, CNN says another. And not even close. 253 to 213 vs 270 to 268. Annoying. Whatever.
Who’s saying this? I just saw the other number on local news.
Don’t know why anyone would be showing the full 538 at this point it time.
According to reddit, fox just called MI for Biden.
They’ve been calling states before anyone so far, and so far have not been proven wrong.
Oh! We’ve got a new contributor. Welcome to hell Rinkles.
I just looked at their site and saw the other number.
Oh well. This is going to be a contentious couple of weeks/months, eh.
Fox’s decision desk was actually covered a lot before the election, and is kind of low key fascinating? The person who runs it couldn’t name who he reported to, and was a Clinton voter. Apparently much like their polling operations it’s very independent, and even more so presently because of how sclerotic Fox has become post-Ailes.
I’m guessing CBC’s includes “leading in”. Thus the full compliment.
