I have no idea what’s going on in that photo, but I’m glad I’m not the guy at the bottom of the pile.

It’s Edleman, doing his ■■■■■■■ job like no one’s business.

28-3 ■■■■■■■.

Still lost. Sorry, but American Gladiator is not really my area of study!

Totally off-topic, but out of curiosity: What is your area of study, my academic friend?

As much as I dislike Biden as a candidate, four more years of Trump (and his Supreme Court picks, and his turning over much of the government to religious extremists, etc. etc.) isn’t acceptable to me. And that’s the long and the short of it.

I’m quoting this because I can’t like it more than once.

PLEASE ■■■■■■■ GOD.

GIVE ME ANOTHER ■■■■■■■ OUT THAT IS VIABLE.

On another note, I really think the phrase “That’s so 2020” will be with us permanently going forward.

Today’s entry: J.K. Rowling vs. Daniel Radcliffe on gender identity.

This was most definitely NOT on my bingo card.

Am I supposed to care what a bunch of YouTube randos think about anything? ‘Cause I really, really don’t.

No-one should die at the hands of the police on suspicion of passing a fake $20 bill.

NO ONE.

That is completely disproportionate to the allegation at hand (which AFAIK has not been proven).

And no, it does not matter IN THE LEAST whether that individual had any kind of prior criminal record - that’s the sort of thing I’d expect to maybe factor in bail or sentencing hearings. But it shouldn’t be a factor in how long someone is pinned by their neck unable to breath.

To be fair, the person in question is an infamously corrupt hypocrite, who basically makes her living as a provocateur. Nonetheless, I agree about not watching the talking heads.

What about murder hornets? Did you have those? I was close with ‘plague of venomous locusts,’ but once again, no cigar for this guy.

I’ll give you that one - close enough in my book.

Yeah, honestly I would not have predicted locust swarms. That kind of came out of left field.

The man ain’t perfect, but he has a point:

(For some reason BBC vids don’t always embed)

Welp, just made the mistake of clicking a link that Reddit sent me to some upvoted submission. Reminding me of yet another enraging miscarriage of justice. This is why I don’t like looking at individual crimes, you can’t do anything about them, and reading them is inevitably upsetting.

As for Cuomo, he may have ■■■■■■ up less than De Blasio, but his covering for the police early in the protests did not age well. Didn’t watch the video though.

He was reflecting back to being part of the investigation of the Rodney King riots. “I’m less interested in these knee-jerk responses across the country… This has to be a fundamental rethinking. This is 30-40 years of police tactics and criminal justice policy that hasn’t worked”

Now there’s another piece of horror fuel, if at least an instructive one. The death toll from that was disturbing to say the least.

Yeah though, fundamental reform is necessary. I don’t like the PR around defund the police, but the actual recommended policy is sound. Really should’ve picked a better name though. Don’t get me wrong, murdering off things like qualified immunity and other systematized pieces of injustice is a good idea, but absolutely starting from the ground up would really help.
