Iāve heard a lot of supporters tonight talking about what people donāt like in a āglobalised Americaā (e.g. economic and labour outsourcing, immigration), and I think thatās important (and Trump emphasised that in his campaign). But I think youāre right - heās seen as an alternative to the political eliteā¦ which is understandable I suppose. If people really thought he was the only way to make that protest though, or the best alternativeā¦ itās deeply shocking.

Iād started yet a third speech that went into a diatribe against both parties and how we got here, but itās sure as ā ā ā ā not swaying anyoneās minds.
All I can say at this point is we got what we deserved.
