Just watch the prices on the new GTX 1080 … I think if AMD wont release a new top tier card that is NOT a rebrand this trend just will continue. Just look at the market distribution of AMD and Nvidia at this point
Bump
Can you merge all the topics regarding this? There are quite a few, maybe then gearbox will give us some kind of answer…
The new update is great, I get about 10-15fps on the new Meltdown map. I’ll try the other two in private matches but I doubt it’ll be any better.
It sucks that the game runs so horribly on my PC for so long, I actually like the game itself a lot.
Not that it’ll mean anything but I’ll post my specs in this thread:
CPU: Intel i7-4790
GPU: 2x(Crossfire) AMD R9 270
8 GB RAM
It seems no matter what graphical options I change there’s absolutely no change in my performance. Some maps run perfectly fine, like the first two Capture maps, Paradise and Coldsnap, and Overgrowth.
A lot of the time many of the campaign maps have these weird areas that I can’t look at or my framerate will drop from it’s cap down to the single digits (when unlimited I can get up to 100+ frames)
I have no idea what could be causing these issues, on a whim I decided last week to reinstall my OS and start everything over after backing up some important files on an external, Battleborn was one of the first games I reinstalled after getting all my drivers up to date again and there has been absolutely zero change in performance.
I’ll be giving the game a break since the new maps seem to run the worst out of anything I’ve been through in this game so far, since I unfortunately bought the Season Pass it’ll give me incentive to come back once the first new campaign mission is out, hopefully it’ll be the least bit playable.
