Positives and Negatives of the Game

@BlackheartVinyl Technically you can choose which characters to unlock first. For example, say to unlock a certain character you have to be rank 12. Below that it will say OR kill 100 enemies, or something to that extent. So you just have to complete the mission for the character you want to unlock.

Yea but Ghalt requires lvl 40 or completing all 8 story missions on challenge with silver. So in the Beta you have to get to lvl 40. Thats going to take some time…

There’s one thing I know about myself. And that’s that no one will ever mistake me for a badass.

Such an amazing game, even better than I expected, the story missions were so epic, can’t wait to play the others when I get the game at Launch. I was worried at first that the game would suffer with lack of antagonists/bosses due to there being so many playable heroes, but so happy the first mission proved me wrong which featured 2 mini bosses, one the Spider Bot with a memorable personality and great to have Isic as the big boss. Co op is just as fun and the online multiplayer is very unique and epic, so much variety and so many epic brawls. The ranking system also works very well too, for anybody worried about the helix system, it doesn’t really spoil the game at all thanks to the character and command ranks. Characters all look unique with their own skills and personalities, I am a major fan of the how over the top a lot of them are. Can’t really think of any complaints to be honest, thanks so much Gearbox for making such a gem, hope Battleborn sells well and receives the love and attention it deserves.

I thought I would be mad at first, but I read this line and calmed down. I totally agree with you.

@devyn_stroud There are no teir 3 skins. All skins are shown. If you get a skin from a pack you bought in the market it gives you one of those skins. All skins are simple color changes. Just learned from experience. -sad face-

I am pretty sure you are wrong based on what I have read on these forums, but I can not say for certain because I havent looked at my Thorn skin yet due to being at work for another hour. But I could be wrong too about the three tiers of skins for battleborn. Gonna have to wait and see. We also do not know how much of the actual game is in the Beta. Maybe their are 3 tiers of skins but only skin colors are in the Beta.

Found it! There are 3 tiers of skins plus extra taunts, just not available in early access nor Open Beta.

There are definitely ā€˜special’ skins current not available. There’s a Kleese skin that changes him into kind of like a zombie & brain chair, then there’s a Benedict skin that makes him into an american eagle. I’d imagine there’s more for other characters.

Oh. Ok, cool. Thanks for the info.

I unlocked a ā€œNomadā€ skin for Mellka, but I didn’t look at it. And I’m at work now for the next 6 hours. Late tonight, I’ll try to post a pic.

I love playing split screen with my friends or little brother but the giant grey space to the left was making it unenjoyable. I liked just how the borderands splitscreed format was. It’s hard to see. Other than that the game is spectacular. The splitscreen is just a slight dent in the game’s greatness

I was thinking along similar lines when looking at the character skill helices. In particular Ambra has three upgrades to her staff and I don’t know which would be best for each situation. The target dummy in Borderlands 2 was used by a lot of people to help decide their skill builds.
