Eh, Miko is very balanced. I feel like a lot of people just don’t know how to deal with Miko yet. Miko has to retreat really fast when Miko gets targeted,
But this is not about Miko. ;p
I now think Nova will not be one of the next 5 characters, but maybe she will be in the game later. And I also hope that Rendain gets playable once. 
They all have multiple roles. Kleese is shields and zone control, Reyna is single target buff/debuff, Ambra is an offensive healer, and Miko heals and does cc.
I agree, too many full support characters would clutter and slow the experience. Imagine a world where every bit of ground had some kind of AOE going on… lol
I’m not suggesting all the supports play together just that there is enough of them to keep people who do support from losing interest and teams going unsupported.
The person above u doesnt realize crowd control is support the only one in the game imo who is support thats not full support is ambra
aoe’s are already numerous i want more charaacters with straight up abilities like whiskey he doesnt have a single aoe
How much did you play Kleese and Reyna?
Attikus and Kelvin are similar in terms of straight up abilities unless you count the effects of their ult but not really an AOE. They are my favorites cause I like punching faces, but yeah more of that would be preferable since most do have it.
I played both quite a bit reyna is the very essence of a pure support kleese a bit more versetile but still pure suppirt imo i had both up to level 8.
I played Reyna a little and Kleese a lot. Good bit of Miko and Ambra as well. If you feel that these characters were somewhat one dimensional then that may have just been the way that you felt they were effective not necessarily a reflection of their versatility. Also even if you are correct in their one dimensionality then doesn’t it support my argument that they might get stale and we will then go unsupported due to lack of interest in the support role. You also act as though I’m campaigning for all support dlc characters. You just seemed a little against adding more and I suggested that we could use them. I’m sure whatever characters they add they will be a unique experience.
Im saying if we get more support like ambra we dont need a ton but a handful or 2 more i would be fine with but u said most should be support and i disagree with that we need a smaller amount of versatile ones.
I just meant more support than others overall. Currently 4 out of 25 it could use a small boost.
My opinion on this is that one more healer would be nice as Miko is currently the only “true” healer, but Alani is coming. I think Reyna and Kleese are too good at their jobs (which is a good thing with support characters) and Ambra is a great spot healer but Miko is, well, Miko. If we had another healer to compete with him, well let’s wait and see what Alani can do.
Anyone notice the Dr. Fist quote was all in caps? After reading that how could anyone get anything other than a Mr. Torgue vibe off it? It screams Mr. Torgue to me, just missing the bleeped swear words.
I still feel Miko needs a bit of a nerf either speed healing or something. And i think i still prefer more characters like Ambra.
Yeah, can’t remember if it was with you or who the OP was but I discussed that in another thread. I don’t think Galilea or Ambra are “OP” but Miko can be a nightmare to kill when in the right hands, slippery little bastard.
Well I am the OP of this topic and thread, but I do remember seeing you on other multiple threads talking about that problem. It is reassuring that I am not the only one who things what I do about Miko.
Either way im not against more support I just don’t think we need more pure support we have plenty of those already.
The three changes I want right off the bat are less movement speed for Miko, less damage for Galilea and either more movement speed or no reduction in speed while attacking for Attikus. Just my opinion so far on minor tweaks to improve the balance.
I feel like it would be very unfair to nerf Miko’s healing. About every character can still outdamage the one Miko is healing, so that seems fair to me… O.o
And I don’t really think Miko is that fast. It’s pretty hard to flee as Miko,when the enemy knows how to deal with you.
But that is just my opinion about Miko. I’ve played him a lot, and fought against Miko a lot and never really had any trouble with Miko. As Miko. ;p
Nerfing the healing would not be unfair at all most damage output is negated by mikos healing so it delays so much that you often die when they have half there health. Or at least nerf the damage/speed that miko has to work with. This is of topic anyways.
I have been posting a bit in another thread. In the last few months about a heavy gunner female and we might be getting one soon as well since even one of the devs said they would see what they could do.
Kind of irrelevant but thinking of new characters, I’d like a ghostly or spiritual looking character. We don’t have a specter type creature.
