It’s not true, Attikus’s max hp buff leads to a 238 difference at Lv 10 between now and then.
It is true. Vagrant is talking about this buff as well as previous buffs.
That initial health buff was over half a year ago. We’re not talking about every alteration ever made to Attikus. That’s a separate topic. We’re talking about the new Attikus and referencing his lack of knock up on his ult would also be a stretch for this topic. He only recently joined the rest of the cast as part of the reliable standard for incursion due to his recent buffs. The wording would have the less informed falsely believing Attikus recieved a 1000 total HP gain with his recent 600 HP gain. But now that it’s been clarified we can all rest easy.
As I specifically address the time frame in the first sentence of my post, I doubt anyone was confused.
Quibbles aside, Attikus’s role has become more clear - he’s still not a tank as the meta defines it, but he’s the game’s most lethal flanker by a long shot. Using AoE wound + slow from his gear-buffed Arc lets him throw an entire team into panic mode, allowing his team to commit and take chokes and mid much easier - and if the frontline doesn’t disengage to stop you, Attikus will happily eat the enemy team alive. You have to be proactive about avoiding CC, watching for when the tanks disengage to come at you, but this isn’t a huge change from any flanker’s problem set.

Somebody asked you directly (and elequently) where the numbers you referenced were coming from. That’s what started this. But as you said… quibbles aside. We can bicker this out the next time we party up. =b
Speaking of coordination, perhaps this thread is a good opportunity to reflect on the loss of verses draft and the return of being unable to see the enemies’ comp. I bring this up because this also favors, as vagrant coined it, flanking offense. Like Attikus. The current meta has evidently put more emphasis on bulky offense with as few counter measures as possible. Without counter picking, it is difficult to know who to prepare for I.E. Caldarius, Thorn, Attikus, Boldur or Toby. All of which require certain strategies and characters to deal with.
I’ve seen people take counters to a match just because they suspect a well known player will use a certain character only to have the person they attempted to counterpick select something else. For instance; Beatrix does well against Attikus but finds trouble with Thorn.

You know, I honestly never realized this was a question. @EdenSophia:
July 1st: Increased Attikus’s base health by 20% (2033 to 2439 at Level 1)
June 22nd: Increased Attikus’s base health by 10% (from 2440 to 2678 at level 1)
Slightly over 600 points.

By “their” I meant Gearbox, not you. I took your word for it on how much Attikus’s health had changed.
To put it more clearly: I can’t figure out why Gearbox make the numeric adjustments they do.

As much as I wish I could say I meant to do this, it wasn’t my intention. But hey, why not both
