What I mean is, you don’t have to find the anointment multiple times anymore
Find it, put it on the trunked, use it when ever you want, on any gun, that’s how trinkets work
yeah but part of my idea is being able to remove the anoint from the trinket and put directly on a weapon, like recycling.
That way people don’t have to use trinkets, and for those that really like the cosmetic system, they can mix and match to get the anoint they want specifically on the trinket they like to use/see on a specific gun.
For those that don’t want to just use the same trinket on everything.

all that is not possible because trinkets are not items
they are just unlockable selections

Anointments were the worst implemented thing in this game, and it continues to be the most badly expanded on system. I wish the discussion was on that rather than all these similar topics I see on various social media, about difficulty with trying to get the right anoint or how we want to reroll anoints, etc.
I don’t want everything in this game to matter around damage to determine usefulness, which are what the anoints focus on. Damage anoints need to be drastically scaled back. Cherries on top, not the pie.
If anoints were dramatically scaled back they would act more like a weapon part than what they do now. Their contribution should of been more similar to this from the get go.
