Preorder and how its linked to the VIP Program?

I want to say I had already done my pre-order for BL3 prior to signing up for the VIP program. I did a Digital Pre-Order through the Xbox One Microsoft Store. I just want to make sure the VIP program sees that it was ordered, just not through the link on the VIP Program.

Can anyone tell me if I am all set to get the bonus content from the VIP Program?
