Anyone know how to recover a profile on Xbox one???

Edit to add that the process is the same to restore your profile after accidentally deleting as it is to use it on a different XB1.

I already signed in to my gamertag but for some reason when I sign in borderlands or borderlands 2 I don’t see my old saved profiles

Where they on the XB1 before and they disappeared, or where they on a 360?
