It is pretty sweet when I can actually play a game before I go to bed instead of getting stuck watching some video that I can’t skip through. =/
And now it is forcing me to play single player… Fun. =/
And you have to watch it even if you’ve seen it before.
If you exit during the prologue level - you have to watch the whole thing over again.
For some reason I can’t finish the prologue without the servers disconnecting. I don’t get it. I’m tired of watching the same prologue over and over for the past four or five hours. It’s unbelievable that you can’t skip it.
You can skip the prologue its called it circle but the prologue does have an option to skip jus gotta pay attention

Depends i had to do the prologue twice. cuz i guess it glitched and didnt open the game for command and what not. but on my second try i waited about 45 seconds. pressed circle it said loading then a thing poppes up saying would you like to skip and then thats it. at least thats how mine went but everyone else has alot of problems but i havent experienced anything except for the initial server start up bug which got fixed in like 10 mins for me
Annnnd. If you played through the Prolog on one PC, and you load up Steam / game on another PC. You have to do the Prolog again??!?!?!

A lot of people were asking for a prologue during Beta for everyone to learn controls, figure out shards and turret mechanics, etc. This was so people’s first ever games didn’t have to be in a public queue, because that was definitely an issue in pvp during Beta. Whether it did its job is debatable because the issue is still there. My point is that you guys are honestly outnumbered, more people wanted the prologue to exist if you go look at the earlier thread in Competitive Multiplayer. But should you be able to skip the long music video? Absolutely, just don’t be so salty about such minor things on release week please.

I have nothing against tutorials. I just don’t like being forced to play them. The bigger issue is that it preps you somewhat for playing the campaign, but not really for the multiplayer so it falls very flat in my mind.
Also the tutorial doesn’t even touch on some important multiplayer stuff like teleporting back to base, upgrading turrets to level up and thrall mercenaries.
2k and gearbox- i love your games , especially the ever popular borderlands. But definitely need to let us skip the prologue video. I still cant, not sure if this was updated? Anyway, my partner and i didnt exactly like watching it all twice back to back , since we share a console right now. Lol
