Proposed additions and amendments to Time Trials for BL2

I have recently focused my BL2 playtime towards time trials, and have some propositions in relation to expanding and changing their structure.

a. Expand time trials to include the following:

  • Southpaw Steam & Power.
  • Bloodshot Stronghold.
  • Bloodshot Stronghold + Bloodshot Ramparts.
  • Washburne Refinery.
  • The Beatdown.
  • Hero’s Pass.
  • Rounds 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Bandit Slaughter.
  • Rounds 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Hyperion Slaughter.
  • Rounds 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Creature Slaughter.
  • Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Magic Slaughter.

b. Considerations may also be made for certain missions. For example, there is a mission that involves you traveling to the Eridian Blight from Windshear Waste without Fast Traveling (I do not know its name). ‘Arms Dealing’ is another good example.

  1. Amendments:
    a. Remove the allowance for pre - stacks of Anarchy with Gaige altogether. It is pointless, as no one ever starts a time trial with Gaige with any number of stacks of Anarchy other than 400.
    b. Disallow the use of the Norfleet in conjunction with the Sham.
    c. Clarify what it means to ‘spam’ rocket launchers, especially considering that some players may not need them for a Second Wind because they never enter FFYL in the first place.
