Probably not until the patch later this month, if then.

Just found out today you can mark them when equipped.
Better than nothing but… yeah.
Would had been nice to see an acknowledgment by Gearbox on the road map. I know we’ll have to wait for the next patch but still.

GBX has acknowledged the issue previously. Since it cropped up with the patch that did some PS4-specific code tweaks, I’m guessing it is going to need a patch to fix. Which also means certification with Sony, and makes it more likely the fix will be rolled in with a larger update.

Must had missed it. Sorry.

Easy enough to do - it was just one line in a long post.

Yeah…
For the record, I submitted a ticket, just as many have, only to be told the CSR’s have no way of passing that info to the developers, and they ENCOURAGED ME TO POST THE ISSUE HERE, as they said the Devs read the forums.
I’ve no proof they do, and it’s made exactly zero difference, though if you’d like to see the full texts of all my support correspondence, I can post it; until then, I’ve documented it here, and in numerous other posts:
So, yes: I’d encourage others to submit tickets as well.
Just don’t labour under the illusion it’ll have any positive effect unless enough people do it, en masse.
HTH,

The official channels the devs use to bug hunt may be valid or not.
Only thing confirmed , is the acknowledgement of the bug in their timeline with a fix expected towards end Nov

Hey, a workaround I have found is to mark/ highlight in vending machines. Now if only vending machines would have a functioning “Sort by Type”

If there really is no way of CS being able to report bugs to devs then it’s a huge waste of time for the developers. Their time should be spent on the game not trawling the forums for bugs and information. Bugs should be reported to customer support and those tickets taken over to an internal reporting system to be assigned out to developers for fixing.

the problem with using the vending machines is the pictures occasionally overlap on the item you are marking (meaning you have to refresh or back out and re-check.) PITA, IMHO on a feature that was working when the game dropped.

Also having the inventory issues. On top of all my skins, heads, and decorations (don’t care much about those, but still - a major symptom) disappearing. Oh, and my bank emptying itself. WTF? I entered tickets for each issue today.

EXACTLY
That is not the POINT of being a developer; the CSRs and/or a dedicated – gasp – dedicated team, possibly of the QA/QC variety, ought to be handing such info off to them. Kinda obvious, I’d think, and another reason for my frustration: ripping me off, then lying to me/giving me the runaround AFTER ripping me off just compounds the sins, so to speak.
The entire thing is just a lame run-around. That’s pretty obvious at this point.
I have zero faith BL3 will be playable anytime soon, so…I stopped. Moved on to other games.
GB & 2K have made many hundreds of (if not more) dollars from me in the past.
That is not a mistake I’ll be repeating anytime soon, as they’re entirely unwilling to even try and work with me in any concrete fashion. It’s all just a big runaround.

Oooh, which timeline? The one saying “a few days”? A week? Late October? Early November? Late November?
Not that they’ve made ANY of those (well: can’t say for sure about the last, though I’d bet a token dollar that’s just BS as well), but still.
I think it’s OK to dream; just don’t have the temerity to be upset when those ‘proclaimed fix dates’ keep flying on by…

What, this timeline…? Straight from 2K (and Spoiler Alert: the boilerplate is identical from GB’s CSRs as well):
As that is from a ticket submitted over two weeks ago, I would not advise holding your breath. Just saying.
HTH,

consider 2k as an outsourced support centre.
probably in some exotic part of the world.
They’ll be fed a line from their overseers about updates, but won’t have inside track knowledge on what’s being progressed when.
To be fair they didn’t acknowledge it was a bug until GBX put out a statement.
That advice to check those sources for updates is as close to the source as they get…they probably check it themselves to keep informed.
2k support is just an umbrella to bounce (and aggregate) most of the issues, so the devs don’t get inundated (directly) by support requests.

That’s why they don’t give dates.

I’ve noticed this too in game, as well as a buddy of mine, we can’t mark items in our inventories, but it works fine with in the vendor screens

Just for some clarity in this thread:
- Bug reports do get aggregated and forwarded to the dev team; 2K support is external to GBX and so genuinely have no way of knowing how far along the bug fix team is on any given issue though
- Questions about events and timelines cannot be answered either by support or by the bug fix team; those don’t get forwarded and it is suggested you post in the forums.
Hopefully that resolves any lingering misunderstandings about the role of the CSR team.
And one update: if you have received a CS response for a BL3 issue where it was clear that the response did not address the bug or issue you raised in your ticket, please PM me with your ticket ID (and the text of the response if possible); I will relay that information to the relevant person. Ta muchly!
