Same here, started off and on at Jacobs estate, now I have absolutely no audio at all, after closing and reopening the game the audio still didnât work at all, completely silence, I waited like 3 hours after that to play, still no audio itâs now been 12 hours I still have no audio and Iâm done playing until itâs fixed, so upsetting very disappointed
audio went out last night and has not come back
Iâm amazed that not one person from GB has even acknowledged this threadâŚ? Can you guys just pop in and post a pic marking it as âreadâ? My problem is only dialogue at this point. I was playing THC for the last month and I got really used to the echo coming through the controller speaker. Why that was left out of this game is beyond me. Without it I canât hear the dialog if Iâm more than 3 feet away.
Same happening to me. I exited to the PS4 dashboard and closed the game using the options button. Once I started the game back up, it seems to be fixed. Hopefully that will work for some.
Experiencing similar issues in Eden 6. Started with minor sound lag, and it developed into not being able to hear anything at all. Luckily, I play with my gf and we just unplugged our headsets and turned her tv volume up and it was working. Now itâs happening to her too and itâs ruining the story. When we can hear, there are characters all speaking at the same time making hearing what youâre supposed to impossible. We just tried to start âThe Familyâs Jewelâ and everyone was speaking and the whole plot of the mission was lost on both of us. I hate this, Gearbox!! Please send out a patch and fix it ASAP!!! PLEASE!!
I have a super sad 13 year old with the same issue, on the ps4. He spent his own money on the super deluxe edition. He played over 200 hours on BL2 waiting for 3 to drop. Now, we canât hear anyoneâs voices. I donât want to drop a spoiler, but it happened at the worst time 
the CC doesnât work, subtitles arenât working, we have zero for voice and just jumping sounds.
Has Gearbox even acknowledged they have serious screwed up?

Shocked they released this with so many game breaking issues. Completely ruins the storyline
Having the same issues, no gun effects and entire parts of the story line missed due to sound loss. GB needs to respondâŚspent money on this and now I canât play a level without having to reload the game in order to hear the sound. When is the fix?
âComing from another Reddit post, the solution is to turn off the Social Notification Frequency setting. This can be done in the gameâs Options under Network & Social .â This fixed it for me on ps4, just be sure to close the application and open it again afterwards
Same issue and itâs now the forth week of October. There have been So many patches but still no fix. Whatâs up?!
PS4, I now have no sound on any map in both Solo and Co-Op. It was just Eden 6, then Meridian Metroplex. Now, nothing. Canât find a fix or anything online either.
The only fix Iâve found thus far requires you to close the application on the PS4 and restart completely.
This works to correct the audio issue, but not to keep it from popping up again and again and again.
The scenarios that cause it seem to be random from going into a Dialog and moving away from the speaking character, to getting dialog echo while in a gun fight, to simply having mass amounts of explosions going off, to just walking around aimlessly.
