PLEASE make sure if it is allowed on PC a player with a fusion reflex controller and aim assist does not dominate ranked. I think for ranked, aim assist should always be off.
I am confident if controller aim assist proves to be overly advantageous the devs will nerf it.

Iāve never seen a FPS game yet where a controller can compete mouse for aiming, assist or not.
Please tell me you are not serious? You guys learn nothing from Blizzard mistake with Overwatch?
They had aim assist for controllers on PC in closed beta, problem is, there is software that will fool system into thinking that you have pad connected when you are using mouse insteadā¦
People abused it hard, there was big uproar, Blizzard removed aim assist support from game at all.
Please learn from other mistakes. Remove aim assist or this game will tank hardā¦

In Titanfall there was the incident where a whole team played in a PC tourney using controllers to abuse the aim assist.

They had better aim than even the pro caliber PC players using mice, so it was basically like playing a match against a bunch of bots on the hardest difficulty setting.

I believe various other triple A console ports like GTA 5 and Evolve had similarly absurd levels of aim assist, but I didnāt play them myself.
Custom lobbies should have the option to disable aim assist and it should be banned in any sort of competitive scene on the PC.

My problem isnāt the aim assist itself but its use with current gen gamepads like the Steam Controller, it offers way better aim than traditional gamepads and if the aim assist is strong, itās gonna be impossible not to feel that players playing with gamepads have an unfair advantage.
