Question about servers for the Devs

Hey guys,
So i am sure the details on servers and tech stuff is all pretty hush hush, but a few others and myself were wondering about how the servers will be hosted.

Are they going to be dedicated servers? player hosted severs like in Borderlands? or which ever way
If they are dedicated, what servers will be available during the CTT and or game launch, since we’re from Australia and trying to figure this out and hoping theirs either a dedicated OCE server or player hosted.

I’m almost certain I’ve read that they will be dedicated servers here on the forums somewhere, but I have no clue whereabouts that was.

Dedicated servers.

We do have regional servers as well. Not sure what is available in the CTT, but I’ll be interested to hear what experience you Aussies have.

Thanks for the quick reply Randy, helpful as always :), we’ll be sure to let you know of our experiences and feedback, would really appreciate it if the OCE servers were turned on

Will we be able to host our own servers? We have a dedicated box sitting in a data centre doing not too much, would be good to give it a purpose :smiley:

I second DocStone’s question. I’d love to see community run dedicated servers.

What I would like to know is: are we gonna be able to pick what region we wanna play in?, cuz so far playing the beta in the latin america region has given me LONG waiting times and sometimes i simply dont get matches
