LOL Iām sitting there PLing him thinking Iām causing more damage with Slag
He will take the initial damage, not sure about the slag coating though - itās been a while. I always hit him with phaselock if there are no snow-minions around to get instead. (You can think of it like the difference between fire and burn damage, or shock and electrocute.)
Just a few days ago, while prepping for recording of the Assassinās Challenge, I opened up a container at Sawtooth Cauldron with a LLM. Dropped me a BotA in shock.
Going back on my comment about a Slag BotA, I am second guessing now. I looked at some research already done from other sources, and the consensus is that they do not come in slagā¦ 
@Piemanlee and @Maliwankenobi - I fear that I may have have failed you both. 
I still must test this about tinderflake. If I also stumble on a slag Bone in my collections, I shall let you know 
Itās okay afro I forgive you, but I farmed them 42-44 tvhm and only got like 4 legs no BoTa but like I said on Krieg got tons of BoTa plus legs so I thought in that November patch they nerfed the drops

Unlikely to happen without a patch note. RNG can be a real b1tch sometimes - youāll always have feast and famine rather than prolonged steady, consistent drops.
Ya like when I was getting consistent drops with knuckle dragger with Krieg when I farmed beginning of uvhm with maya nothing for 25 runs ugh rng I hate you
@Maliwankenobi they only drop in UVHM after level 61, I think.

Thatās not true, I was getting them to drop like candy in tvhm with Krieg at 42-44 almost every run was a BoTA if it wasnāt a legendary dropping. Now on maya nvhm and tvhm no BoTa just legs, sparse at that. Guess itās feast or famine?

I tested if you could slag tinder and sadly you canāt. I must have just been underestimating my damage without it.
Isnāt that certain of the Seraph relics?
Anyway, the relic max stats guide lists acid, fire, & shock damage (each with cooldown bonus), as the Bone of the Ancients variants. Too bad really - imagine an explosive Bone on Axton?!

The only seraph are the ones you buy from the vendors. Or am I missing something. I thought you could get the ancient relics at any lvl in uvhm Iād have to check if I still have them but Iām sure I had some around lvl 55-60
You get them in uvhm but I couldāve sworn I got them in tvhm it canāt be 61 and above because I donāt have a toon above 59, at least thatās what the wiki says.
Iām almost certaint they canāt drop in tvhm, but they should be able to drop in uvhm as long as you have the 1st lvl cap dlc.
Okay so I guess after this bull torgue dlc Iāll do main story till doctors orders and get those bonesš
The notes in the relics max stats guide indicate for most of them that they were added in UVHM upgrade pack 1, so they should be available all the way from 50 up. There were certain things (like the second generation legendary class mods and some of the pearls) that came only with part 2 (61 and up.) I am likewise trying to remember if that included certain additional relics or not, but am drawing a blank. Apparently, I am now desensitized to the effects of caffeine, at least as far as mental recall is concerned.
