Quick and dirty max script for weapon templates

The script will create the box and the color, I is not knowledge (for now) to create a modifier the box.
But until I find the method, I can offer you 2 solution to know the direction of the Marker.

What does the animation one do? Will it help us move animations from the wrong joint while we’re waiting for RODOH to be updated?! :smiley:

Unfortunately no.
The script serves only to read and / or create a range for animation.
What makes easier the creation of animation for homeworld.

I’m about to update the script.
There will have no great novelty only improvement.

I made some changes on the script. Here’s a list of what’s new:

HWR_Marker

  • Add Visual Mesh
  • Automatically detect ROOT_LOD[0]
  • Attach automatically to the ROOT_LOD[0]

HWR_Ship

  • Turn the ship so that the later is in Z position.
  • Detect the ROOT_LOD* to link other meshes without creating a new one.

HWR_Joint

  • Can now create a Visual Mesh (As seen in Hgn_Carrier) For Repair ; Capture ; Salvage.
  • Can hide/show Visual Meshes (Exclusively the ones created with the script)
  • Automatically detect ROOT_LOD[0]
  • Attach automatically to the ROOT_LOD[0]

HWR_Animation

  • Automatically detect ROOT_LOD[0]
  • Attach automatically to the ROOT_LOD[0]
  • Automatically detect the HOLD_ANIM and create it if necessary

HWR_Navlights

  • Automatically detect ROOT_LOD[0]
  • Attach automatically to the ROOT_LOD[0]
