I have to agree, this was definitely a step in the right direction. I almost feared that Meltdown was going to rule the roost in QM, so I was pleasantly surprised to get Capture on a regular basis. This mode really did breathe new life into the game for me. When I would get fed up or tired of Incursion, my only other option was story. But now! Woohoo! I can experience more of what I loved! It pulled me away from a game that just dropped an expansion, something to do with rising irons or whatever, I canāt remember thatās how good I had it in Battleborn now.
Wish it was implemented earlier, a big step up from competitive/free play! And the new players! I donāt know about you guys, but there are a lot of low CR players coming in. Hereās to hoping this momentum just keeps right on trucking!

The idea is more along the lines of
Play a your game like normal with a partner happen across a team of low levels.
introduce yourself and explain that your here to help and be supportive.
Incourage them to ask as many questions as possible and just have fun.
It doesnāt really require any work outside of being polite and sociable.
Oh and you need to rock the Helping Hand title

Iāve been liking the quick queue quite a bit.
Solves the meltdown and capture drought nicely with more than acceptable queue times.
Unfortunately thereās been a lot of imbalanced matches, but that was to be expected, however weāve had some truly great ones as well.
In fact we had a meltdown that was 365-365 which was decided by a death in literally the last second of the game! We lost sadly

I have also enjoyed Quick Match,
I would say that the balance is improved as well, but maybe that is subjective, or because I didnāt lose as much due to team composition and level

I have really enjoyed playing meltdown again, and I have played a lot of it. It seems that the majority of matches are pretty one-sided, though.

Thanks for the like @JoeKGBX
I and @LucaGoes would love to have you and all of the devs team support. Just like you we want this game to be the best it can be

Disclaimer: I play on Xbox where I believe the population is higher than other platforms.
I think I might be the only one here, but Iām really not enjoying quick match very much.
I pretty much spend (spent) all of my pvp time in meltdown with a spattering of incursion for variety. Iām REALLY not a fan of capture.
The fact that meltdown is now mixed in with capture actually makes me want to play the game less, as spending 15 to 30(ish) minutes in a game mode that I just donāt enjoy and am not good at isnāt fun.
Once Iām in the mode, Iām in. I wonāt quit out of it and leave my team short handed, but I am such an anchor in that mode that me staying is essentially the same thing. Iām just simply not good at capture, whether Iām solo que or in a premade.
Also, because of the the gear system, I have loadouts for incursion and meltdown, but there arenāt enough loadout slots available for me to make capture loadouts as well. I like to use all of the characters because I find they all play so differently.
Re: loadouts, Iād love to see three loadouts available for each character so I could have one for each character for each game mode, plus a few āgeneralā style loadouts that any character could choose. But that is neither here nor there. I just miss being able to queue up for strictly meltdown matches.

I play on Xbox buddy, but for some reason my experience is the opposite.
I generally get Meltdown or Incursion, only played capture once or twice.

Iām with you on that one. I think that capture is actually a pretty terrible mode. A mode that can end up with a pubstomp team penning the opposing team into their spawn, staring at each other through green force fields, is the definition of not fun. It is absolutely unforgiving when the teams are not balanced, and just gets quickly worse as the stomping team levels up quickly and the overmatched team canāt get levels at all. The emptiness of the matchmaking queue when it was on its own instead of bundled into Quick Match speaks volumes.
Iāve never seen a capture match last 30 minutes. On ps4 meltdown ques took forever. That is why they were not going to use qm on xbone but were forced to due to a parity rule.

Certainly explains why I never saw a match go to 30 minutes!
Yeah, pretty sure Iāve seen you on the opposing team a few times. Maybe I have a lower ELO and donāt get matched up with you, but I donāt think weāve ever been on the same teamā¦
I guess my ID stands out a bit due to the all caps. Had to due with maybe having had a few drinks when I was setting up my PSN and getting super frustrated that all the names I wanted were taken so ended up with that alphabet soup. I was getting into some pretty obscure literary references too. Ah well, now Iām stuck with it.
