The Tundra Express bandits who try and ambush you in No Hard Feelings will respawn if you stay in the map long enough, as does Will the Bandit.
Yeah was in Heroās Pass taking pot shots at him with some terrible guns when he went nuclear. Tired to rush him (nailed the jumping up to him) only ti get a nasty surprise and not the grenade mod
During the final part of Brickās initiation, you can jump up to where Brick and the two badass goliaths are, this makes completing the mission easier as you can literally watch enemies spawn then jump down to the floor, also handy for the odd goliath that gets stuck up there.
You can get up before the door opens? Which way? From the platform facing Brick up the open staircase in the corner and then Or is it a different route?
I hang an immediate left into that little nook, and grenade jump/hop up. Iām not sure about anyone else.
Ah! I can see that working. Was kinda hoping for a route that didnāt involve grenade jumping though - Iām terrible at remembering to remove my grenade mod before jumping on top of one.
Yep, longbowing a Bonus Package at my feet, been there done that.
You can almost hear the Marauders laughing at you as they scurry and dive behind cover, depriving you of that chance at a second wind.
Ok so probably everyone and their Mother here knows this one already, but until the other day I was blissfully unaware
I, like so many here have a whole lot of hours in this game! And I also know as standard, that you can use Moxxi weapons to heal off of various VH friendly items within the game!
I did not know however, that you can achieve the same said healing process on those unfortunate buggers encased in ice, a-la The Fridge. I just always hit em with the good-ol punch em in the face til they die technique. Props Brick ![]()
So yeah, how did I feel⦠
Itās also possible to jump on the right-most computer monitor thingy in the back of the room, then jump towards the wall onto a small jut there, which allows you to jump onto the metal beams backing the top platform. Doesnāt require grenades this way. (I do however often forget which monitor it is, and take the left-most one, which doesnāt work at all
)
Itās hard to explain, but something like this. You head to the back of the room, underneath the platform with Brick and the enemy spawns, and thereās a monitor thingy, jump on that then face the back wall, thereās a box thingy sticking out that you can jump on, then turn around 180 degrees and jump on a rail on the raised platform⦠Yeah, something like that
Ok, so I just did the Overlook beacon bit (ugh) and I donāt think Iāve ever seen this happen before; the badass loader that comes at the end managed to get up towards the beacon, I killed it, and then the grinder below started grinding it! Never seen that before, unless Iāve been blind / deaf.
Also I confirmed to myself today, think it might have been discussed above, it definitely is possible to pick up booster shields dropped by an NPC - or at least from rats. i think it says otherwise on the wiki, but unfortunately I didnāt get it on tape so canāt correct itā¦
Oh wow⦠can you knock Loaders in to that thing when itās live (or did it fall in there dead?). If you can do it while theyāre live, that could be super fun.
man that would be a hoot. Iād like to know if this is possible or not.
I donāt think so as it didnāt go off until I killed it. Experimental possibilities however.
Shooting any damagable object ( refuse pile, barrel, etc. ) will trigger Get Some - not just an enemy.
Are you sure that he didnāt just drop an item straight into the grinder as he died? Thatās my theory anyway since the grinder, well, grinds items.
Hmm, thatās an interesting possibility! Does the grinder start grinding if you just throw items in? I will try and get him up there again and suss out whatās going on.
If you drop anything from your inventory into the grinder it starts doing what it does.
If I recall correctly, you can punch hyperion ammo crates to gain health too when holding a moxxi weapon
