Random Talk Thread Mk. II

Things were going so well, it wouldn’t be Friday with too little sleep without a last minute crisis to finish out the week.

I’ll be in my seats at the baseball game in 6 hours, I can do this…

Who are you going to see play?

Astros and Rangers, friend from high school invited me out
He’s moving over the weekend so I think he wanted some leverage to ask for help lol

I like how, in DE, when I’d get gelato after 20:00, they’d ask if I wanted booze on it haha. Yeppp.

Nice. Have fun FJ.

Sounds like a bribe to me.

I second this. Been a while since I’ve been to any O’s or Ravens games. Got a few lined up this year, though, if nothin’ changes.

Same here. Nothing like being at the ballpark/stadium.

What are your teams again? You may have told me at one point, but I’m terrible at keeping track of what I say on here. That or you just never talked about it with me.

Yankees and 49ers. I also enjoyed the A’s back in the 80’s and early 90’s. Unfortunately all my favorite players are long since retired. Makes me feel old.

We never talked sports.

Thanks guys.
I was kidding about him trying to pull one over on me, I’ve known the guy for 18 years, there’s not much I wouldnt do for him.

I am gonna head over there Sunday to help set up his music stuff so we can spin some records and have a few beers.

At least you didn’t say Pittsburgh or NE… My dad has been a Niners fan since the Montana days and managed to drag the rest of the family down that route as well. Growing up in states without professional teams, I never followed the NFL much until I was about 12-years-old. Since day one I gravitated towards teams with smashmouth reputations; football was always about the defense to me. Almost became an Eagles fan when they had Dawkins in his prime and Duce Staley, but ended up going with the Ravens. Liked 'em ever since and the day that Suggs retires is going to take a piece of my childhood away lol. Ngata, Reed, and Lewis are already gone…

Should’ve seen our house during the SB a few years back. We were going nuts and I was the only one that went to sleep happy haha. It’s okay, though, because y’all beat our asses last year and I was at that game. Might post the pics in a second. Not the biggest baseball fan in the world, but I started following the O’s on and off a few years ago. No sense in me choosing another team if I already like the Ravens.

That’s me.

Post them up. I’d love to see them.

@AMG_75 Gonna take some of these down because I’m not real big on leaving family stuff up, but here ya go! We were both garbage last year lol. My family has one of the bricks engraved at the stadium entrance, too. You probably heard about that when they were building the stadium.

I’ll see if I can dig through some albums and find some more Niners/Ravens stuff.

Good stuff Stoker. Thanks for sharing.

Here’s some more you’ll probably like. Don’t worry, folks, I’ll cut this giant wall of pictures down soon.

Threw in some NASCAR for the hell of it. I get around a lot… Most of the Ravens games are back on my home computer, but I went to all of the ones I posted. I’ve probably seen your damn Niners just as much as my Ravens because of my family.

That Browns game, by the way? We ■■■■■■■ lost. First loss to the Browns in 11 games and it had to be the one I was at. I thought they were going to burn their already trashed city down over a regular season game haha.

cheez, that’s a huge stadium

My work is part of the 49er sponsorship, with access to a couple of the trophy clubs at Levi Stadium there. I’m not a fan of american football myself, but I’ve been tempted to go check it out on one of our next promotions.

The pom poms are covering the best part lol. XD

This is an outdoor movie theater near a local lake where I just saw BFG. The movie was so-so, but I’ll take almost any excuse to watch a movie here. The ranger on stage is talking about white-nose syndrome in bats (which we don’t have here, although bats do fly around, casting shadows on the screen), and the screen behind her will be lowered afterwards when the sun goes down. They used to do this production where they’d let some kids from the audience lower the screen in a cheesy little skit, but apprently 35mm film is no longer made, so they had to replace their projector with a digital one with a matching screen that’s too heavy for kids to handle (so tickets went up a buck to $7.50). This theater has been in operation for 81 years. Also, it turns out that my dog is a chick magnet… I love this place.
