Large Lego sets in a nutshell. So expensive.
That must of been one hell of a kit to design up. Constructor is pleased at massive construction victory.

I saw it… and I just couldn’t pull the trigger.
I was sharing a 900 sq ft apartment with a gf and 2 dogs, such a purchase would have been the definition of folly

Yes, saw that earlier today and have been mildly hyperventilating ever since. Back in the days of the real life Apollo program, I had both the Lunar Module and the Saturn V Airfix kits. And back before that I made my own Saturn V and CSM models about of cardboard mailing tubes and a pop bottle.
My biggest fear is that demonic entity known as Canadian List Price. I’ve seen how much the Deathstar kit goes for here… 
Which reminds me: I need to fix my broken Warthog and Locust kits (Megablocks SUCK), unpack my completed Naboo Starfighter and find a spot for it in my office, and then fish out the Banshee kit from hiding. Naboo Fighter versus Banshee… FIGHT!

I think I’m going to try and pre-order the Apollo kit. Too good to pass up, and once they’re sold out they’ll be way too expensive on ebay.

Yep. Lego sets appreciate in value (sometimes rapidly). If you want a certain set, get it as soon as possible.

Lego can compare to Game’s Workshop’s kits in price crazyness, but the quality is always top notch.
