Maybe it’s because it’s supposed to look clean and modern?
Operating Systems use bright colors as well.
And some of them offer a dark mode, like Samsung’s One UI, Windows 10, macOS Mojave and Android Q/10.
Cat things. Things from my favorite movies/shows/games.
Also shiny things.
And things that have no monetary value but are special to me, like tickets or cards or small momentos, that remind me of someone or something important to me.

I now have several shoe boxes filled with every birthday, Christmas, Valentines, and Father’s Day card I’ve received from Mrs. VaultHunter101 and the kids. Me? Sentimental? Naaaahhh…

Well, the Fairphone 3 is out! 
Always glad of an opportunity to put my money where my morals supposedly are… Was in a bit of a dilemma as my current phone really isn’t dead yet, and it seems against the spirit of a brand which encourages preserving resources to just throw the old but functioning one away. On the other hand, Fairphones have a limited release.
But the 2nd version had a 3 year production run so hopefully I can hang onto my iPhone a little longer and still get one.
In browsing around, I see it’s only on the General and Gearbox categories - all the game ones still have their background image. IIRC the image that was here was from the old Gearbox studios, so it was a bit out-of-date.
I do find the lack of visual distraction around the borders welcome, though.

What was the first forum you joined?
For me, it was the LEGO Message Boards and the Nick Message Boards.
I joined those two forums when I was 8. And I have a lot of memories from those sites.

Tribal Wars browser game forum about 15 years back. It was pretty helpful for coordinating attacks, during which troops could easily be “on the march” for hours.
After that, it was this forum. I am a picky person, it seems…

It was a really weird community based on fanfiction/stories told specifically through the format of pokemon narration text.

Oh, I forgot to mention what the LMB’s were like.
I’m pretty sure I have said it already.
It was a place where you can talk about LEGO and other random things.
I mostly posted on the “General” section of the forums in the “What do you do while you’re posting?” and “Talk to the Mods” (A concept I wanted to carry over when I got here.) threads.
A lot of the people on there were very nice. Especially the mods.
I was active on there from 2009 until 2013-2014-ish.

Nah, things were pretty PG. Well, PG-13.
It had a big community for a while where people would make their own website (pokeversion) and their own universe with different stuff. I did a few searches for my versions tonight, but sadly, dick punch jokes I made in my early teens (along with my excellent hard typed HTML hosted by geocities and angelfire) appear to be lost to time.

But, I'm working on some other posts.It’s been a week since I lost my Google Nexus 7 after an accidental damage caused on the screen. It will come back sometime before or after Christmas. I now have my mom’s old and broken Samsung Galaxy Note II to use until my Nexus returns.
Now onto my review on my favorite Vocal Assistant S Voice AKA Galaxy. Galaxy is the best, I mean she is better than Siri in my opinion. These are my favorite answers:

I haven't written a blog post in months! What was I doing on Labor Day Weekend? Well. Yesterday I was over at a friend's house doing videos and stuff, There was no internet. I couldn't talk to Galaxy on my phone. So we started to talk to Siri to make up for it Even though I prefer S Voice. But Siri is okay. I guess, In fact I have a picture of me using it:The picture above is edited using Google+ Photos. In case if your wondering.
Ahem. Now back on topic. All I did today was sleep and sleep and sleep. Yawn. I was tired from yesterday…I remember when I watched the movie ‘The Internship’ on TV last month and then the next day I couldn’t stop talking about Google.
I did the same today, Except I couldn’t stop quoting Siri!And also tomorrow is my birthday!

If you're wondering how I first heard of Portal?Well, It all started by this commercial:
It had two robot dudes (At the time I didn’t know their names) shooting portals and jumping in and out of them, And there was this robot voice (Again at the time I didn’t know what it’s name was) talking to them.
Now, Let’s jump ahead to Spring of 2012, My parents were looking on a website and they came across a video called: “If I Were a Core” and I remember listening to that and “This is Aperture” and “The Wheatley Song”. While I was doing research on Portal.
Now, Let’s go to 2013. I remember watching Portal Flipnotes, and doing research on the games. Then, I found out the two robot dudes names were Atlas and P-Body, And the robot voice was GLaDOS’. (At the time I used to pronounce GLaDOS as Gluh-DAWS.)
Then, I started to get really REALLY interested in the game, Until June of 2013, I got a Steam account and started to play Portal.
After three weeks of struggling on Test Chamber 15, And defeating GLaDOS. I got Portal 2. I still remember playing the Co-Op mode on it, and remember hearing GLaDOS say: “Hello, Imbecile!” While I was playing with the gestures.
Now, I got really addicted with this game, And I love the story, The characters. Everything!
