Just getting ready for bed, been under the weather the last few days but itās all better now.

Now itās time to get back to adulting and work in the morning.
Been pretty good though these last few days.

Tis the season.
Iāve got a lot of sinus/respiratory issues normally, so this week Iāve been going through what I thought was what I call the bi-annual āreconfiguringā. Basically any time thereās a sharp temperature drop my entire head kind of explodes. My sinuses and throat seal shut and start spraying mucus for a week. I feel physically fine during this period Iām just constantly sneezing and coughing and leaking.
I thought that was all that was going on until today. Iāve had a couple quick hot flashes and like 3 10 minute long bouts of nausea. Right now Iām chalking it all up to the cocktail of day/nyquil Iām on along with the caffeine I use to get through my shifts, but waking up tomorrow is going to be the real test. Iām either going to wake up feeling great, better than I have all week (today was a lot better than yesterday, for instance) or Iām going to wake up dead and call in.

I gotta say that your troubles totally eclipse my āonce every few yearsā cold.
I just mope around the house downing DayQuil and NyQuil for a day or so and Iām good to go for at least another twenty monthsā¦ Sometimes double that.
Iām curious if you were an outside kid growing up?

I did just notice a difference that might redeem it: anything close enough gets trapped in the singularity with the first target (so one of them should eat elemental nova damage at point blank range when the other dies, for example). Am working with it now.

Itās been like The Stand up my way. Every other person with a debilitating cold/flu. I had it for a week, went away for two, back for another week. Feel like a champ now.

Ish? I was more into video gaming and stuff but mom and dad were old so they kicked me out of the house a lot. Did some yard/field work with dad, but couldnāt use the weed-eater because of allergies that got found out when they finally took me to the ear nose and throat guy to figure out why I was always leaking. Kind of a 50/50 split.
Honestly āthe reconfiguringā isnāt bad as long as the weather stays in whatever mode it goes to after the rise/drop. The problem is that it happens at peak flu/cold season so itās really hard for me to figure out when Iām actually sick.

allergies have always confused the ā ā ā ā out of meā¦ I have seen close family and even my SO suffering from the effects of various nasal allergies throughout the yearsā¦
I found it extremely frustrating. I am sure it must be tenfold worse to actually have to deal with it yourself. Iām kind of empathic in person so I osmosis the grief from people easily. And allergenic ppl have it crappyā¦ It never improvesā¦ I have to turn it off or leave them.
I wish I could punch allergies in the dick for everyone dudeā¦ Including you.

90% of the time Iām fine just taking a zyrtec and going about my day. Honestly, the most annoying thing about my wide range of ā ā ā ā is that Iām allergic to - no ā ā ā ā - most brands of laundry detergent. I wear short sleeve shirts constantly so I have a ring of little bumps from my shoulders down to my elbows pretty much constantlyā¦ but they donāt itch unless I miss my meds like 2-3 days in a row.
And then if I do that itās like my entire body is covered in poison ivy.
I forget about the respitory stuff most of the time unless its the day after a drunk orā¦ well, this time of year. But out of the cultures they did of me when I was in the third grade or so I was allergic to like 15 of the 17 tree samples they did and I think 4 of the 7 grass ones?
Good stuff. I appreciate the kind thoughts though.

My allergies are usually caused by pollen and dust. Mostly dust because I live in an old house.
Iām also allergic to strawberries. I break out in a rash every time I eat them.
Anyways, my package is in transit! w00t!

I would punch my clone in the genitals thoughā¦ (Though it would probably be smarter to just punch myself in the nuts and save one of us the trouble because I know that my clone would definitely reciprocate)
I wonder if I could get my clone to make a clone and if the clone of a clone could be convinced to punch himself and save us both the troubleā¦

I managed to do this just the other day. Well, it was my bike pedal as I lifted to run it up some stairs.

I was at a friendās house a few years ago for a birthday party, he had a strawberry cake.
My mom gave me a slice and the side of my face broke out.
Turns out, it had a little bit of strawberry syrup on it.
I have used many a line when calling in sick from work including leaving a message on my bosses phone āIām locked naked in the boot of a nuns car help!ā But even I never had the balls to ring up and simply say not coming in today iām dead and simply hang up.
The stand is one of my fave king books Jefe if not my fave. Seems like your going to be one of the survivors.
Look for the kindly old black lady not that dick Randall Flagg.

If your a fan of King, you prob already read them, but the Talisman / Black House books he wrote with Peter Straub are a great read.
