Random Talk Thread

@ChicoSuave - I don’t recall the ability. I’m unsure if that’s one of the things that we requested that wasn’t granted or not, the threads concerned with feedback were all removed, so it’s hard to keep track.

Bummer. I like spoiler tags. They make things all mysterious and ■■■■.

I see they got the filter working.

@ChicoSuave - Our one, and only, requested feature that was granted.

Why would you request a filter you ■■■■■■■ ■■■■ ass ■■■■■■■■■■■■ ■■■■ you bitch.

How come Bastard is censored, but bastards is not? Because im saying it about more than one person its suddenly not offensive?

@Dacheat - I think it resulted out of me baiting Ars into posting every profanity he could think of (and a few I provided him over Steam), to ‘test’ the nonexistent profanity filter. It was funny at the time…

Ah the good ol days without a profanity filter.
The Arsonist swear marathon was gold at the time.

I wonder if gifsoup is censored, it was for some reason on the old forum.

I couldve sworn there were spoiler tags here…

@Jeffybug @joekgbx - Can one of you confirm or deny this?

testing testing, if you can read this, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

spoiler /spoiler with brackets [ ] around them.

I like the blurry effect. Also, it saves highlighting the entire sentence just to see what’s hidden.

Sweet, thanks, didn’t see it in the toolbar and didn’t even think to just give it a shot.

Hehe, just noticed the last 2 replies have Futurama avatars.

Also, I like the user card background thingy!

Nailed it!

Well, BL1 has a line of Bastards AR’s so.
Still, it’s still that the plural isn’t sensored.

Woah, I just had a thought: Is that why Inglourious Basterds is spelt wrong, because there would have been a stupid law preventing the title from being shown? Because I cant recall seeing any movies with “profanity” titles.

There is not, although usually they have problems advertising. Go ask “Zack and Miri Make a Porno”, which got shorted almost everywhere. Even “Jackass” gets its name edited at times.

It is misspelled because the original movie had the name misspelled as well.

Hmmm, interesting. I’ve never really understood why people get offeneded at certain words, especially ones without any directed offensiveness. But maybe thats because Straya’ mate, where THIS is considered relativly normal.

It likely does not help that the MPAA has a member of the clergy on hand when film raitings are approved. God I hate those bastards.
