Agreed, I’d actually expand this to disliking the lack of information granularity in general. It’s easy to see some basic information about who you’re dealing with in vB, but here it requires navigating to another screen.

I’m not done exploring this new engine yet, though I have to agree. However I am impressed with the new forum engine and the info we are used to seeing under everyone’s avatar might get added later.

Nickname shows up properly capitalised but no notification. Unless you’ve already edited it in the meantime.

I bet if you click the talk bubble at the top right, youll see a notification with an @ symbol. You may not get the actual (1) pop up if you are currently in the thread as it happens. But it should still be there regardless.
