There is no need to get hostile here. While I understand people’s standpoints on grammar (their/there/they’re is especially annoying to me), this place is not a spelling contest. As long as you get what the other person is trying to get across and what they have written is understandable, I think that there is no need for correction.

Yea Im deeply confused too… I dont know what I did
He said that he sucked at spelling so I told him that in this case its actually the grammar that was wrong and then gave him a tip to help him in the future…
Its like if someone say that they cant make cookies and you want to help and gives them a recipe and they yell at you for calling him/her a bad backer and proceds to chow the recipe up the arse on the person trying to help…
