I take that back, this hololens thing is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.
Like legit, hololens >>>>>>> vr. Micosoft has a damn winner if they perfect it. SOOOO many uses for it.

And the conference ended with Gears 4. Which looked pitch black to me. Could hardly see anything for part of it.

Overall: meh. Better than last year, but they’re still talking too much about “innovation” and other buzzwords. Trailers are nice for announcements, but you need some gameplay to show off eventually.
Oh, and they announced backwards compatability with Xbox 360 games. FINALLY. I’m surprised it wasn’t available at launch.

You saw Hololens right?
Most innovative thing ins vido gams since the Wii Mote, most revolutionary thing in general in a very long time.

but yeah, agreed with what you said, not a lot of gameplay at all. I don’t know if Gears of 4 looks good cause it was a black screen… so good job there msft.

Recore, hololens and I want to have faith in Rares new game.
That’s all I liked.

Agreed, although I wouldn’t mind seeing some more Tomb Raider.

I have to admit, I stopped actively watching when they started showing Forza. It’s not that the conference was actively bad, just not all that interesting. Particularly the ‘world premiere’ tags on games that were already announced (EG, The Divsision). Don’t get me wrong, I’m interested in Tomb Raider and The Division (the Snowflake engine seems neat), but those aren’t new announcements.

In plainer terms, too little content, drawn out over too much time.

It certainly did seem to drag, but about 3/4 of the way through it was a bit better. I did other things while they were talking to help pass the time.

I’m going to watch the EA and Ubisoft conferences in the same way. If anything interesting happens, I’ll say so. It’s a shame that the Sony conference is at 2am for me. I’ll probably not log into the forums until I’ve watched it myself to prevent spoilers to myself.

Yeah but

Why was Division there anyway? They’re gonna spend 15 minutes on it at their own conference titled “More games from Ubi that won’t look like this, run like this and are all effectively the same game.”

Not showing Scalebound was dumb, ending on Gears of 4 when you can’t see what is going on was even worse.

Who are all the people in the green Xbox shirts supposed to be? (1:03 in video)

Employees probably.

Fallout shelter only available for ioS devices…

the one time I wanted to mobile game and I simply cant even.

At least there will be one sometime in the future, hopefully very soon.

Anyone have Sony and Nintendo predictions or hopes?

Yeah, they’ll be miles better than Microsoft’s. :joy:

I didn’t see any new information on HoloLens at a glance to be honest, but admittedly I haven’t been following it all that closely. Personally what I’m really interested in for augmented reality is more along the lines of Glass, albeit given how that failed it may be a bit of a wait.

Play it on PC? Fairly sure there are multiple programs able to run ioS on PC.

ehh, Battleborn showing campaign zzzzzzzz

What is that anyway?!

EDIT: After reading a recap of their conference, I can safely say that selling my One was a smart decision…now Nintendo would you mind TELLING ME THE XENOBL------faints due to anger

If they DON’T mention it at their digital event tomorrow, that’s a bad sign on where the translation is…

That’s because everyone wanted a NEW Rare game that isn’t a piece of crap. Instead they are repackaging tons of them together. I’d get it if I still had a One. As long as Jetforce Gemeni was included in that…

It’s Fallout shelter, a generic mobile game but Fallout which adds a bit of spice to it, kinda amusing.

Oh you mean the game I CAN’T ****ING PLAY BECAUSE ■■■■ iOS…nevermind then >_>

Also I’m addicted to that damn clicking game.

Oh, I thought of this earlier today in relation to the brown people in games conver-gument.

I want more brown people in games.
For brown people are fine.
Really, they’re sexy as hell as a general rule.
More brown people in games.
