I went to “Inspect Element”, went to styles, and changed the font from there. I did it in Google Chrome, though.
You just need to change the name of the font in quotation marks. Really easy. Interestingly enough, though, unchecking “font-family” also returns the forum to the Arial font.
Freaking magic xD
Is that Windows Vista? I honestly forgot how ugly that task bar was…
And a little bit of (ugly) magic for you:
Now in Comic Sans MS! Enjoy the magic, because I’m not enjoying the look of Comic Sans in the preview. At least the editing box is unaffected by the font change, though.
uh… Naughty Doge… .wut?
Should be titled
“making UC4 run at 60fps harms the developers experience”
Or even
“the hardware we’re working with harms the developers experience”
There really should be a caption off for this. Too many, too damn many.
Is there a reason games cant run at 40/50 fps? If they’re struggling to get 60, why not cap it at 45? Or is there a specific reason it has to go up in set increments?
And I dont think Naughty Dog could make a game for PC, they’ve spent 20 years squeezing every last drop of graphics from Playstation consoles, Im not sure they would no what to do with virtualy ulimited resourese, and then get it to work on a variety of computer qualitys.
Its impossible for humans to see above 30fps. Someone on r/gaming said so, they wrote a bunch of science words and everything, so I know its true.
Please tell me this is sarcasm (I know for a fact my eyes can tell a difference between 30 and 60 and 60 and 120 fps)
At least it’s a new EYE/FPS ratio that I haven’t seen (most common argument is that you can’t see above 60 which is why movie projectors and such usually play at that rate)
Poor optimization for PC or whatever platform it’s on and or they really are pushing the limits of whatever the platform is. Another reason is that you the customer are telling the game to do too many of the graphic enhancements (xyz AA, distance for viewing stuff at high, etc. etc. etc.) which pushes the components to the limit. Oh yeah, you might’ve forgot to change the “Max FPS” (generally only available on PC) from ~60 to whatever you would it rather be.
What?
I was asking why Devs dont set FPS to 45 or whatever if they cant reach 60, in reference to the Uncharted 4 thing.
It was complete sarcasm, I figured the “bunch of science words” gave it away
I’m the same as you, I can generally tell roughly where my frames are at without looking. Even 60 starts to feel really sluggish.
Derp-a-derp, my brain went on vacation for a bit.
Hmm… maybe they wanted to say it could reach 60 FPS since that is more or less expected from every game now.
Maybe also in their opinion 45 was too choppy looking for their “high standards of excellence” or whatever bs they call it.

Only game where the difference between 60 and 120 is minimal (to me at least) is Arkham Origins but some much is going on that it just might be too much to focus on a single semi-sluggish thing. Only is really noticeable when it dips to the 30-45 range but that’s usually during/right after loading some more map data (I turned around and in theory would be able to see across the bridge but it wasn’t loaded so it quickly loaded and fancied it up so I wasn’t staring towards a bridge that leads no where)
Naughty Doge should be t o p m e n and make Uncharted 4 60fps, just lower the resolution, though it probably already is below 1080 so. Welp
muh cinematic experience in muh vidogams
nvr 4gt the order 800p cinematic extravaganza the game minus the game part
Craw pls
Win7, I like how it looks.
I did not know that even existed, it’s golden.
I think I’ve known about it for 1.5-2 years but I didn’t know about the youtube link until recently but I do agree that it’s golden.
I think I was just looking up “loot midget spawn boost” or something similar and instead of in game stuff I get real life loot midgets
For the record I didn’t nor haven’t used 3rd party programs to manipulate spawn rates, I think I was looking up loot midget spawn increases cause of a thread/post on a forum (whether it was the old forums or GFaqs I don’t remember, that data got overwritten by the discovery of real life loot midgets)
Hey man, I believe you, but even if I didn’t what you do on your computer is your business.
Just given that this is the official forums 3rd party drop manipulation is frowned upon I thought so I’d rather explain why I looked up “something shady” than just be like “I looked up xyz drop modification but found this instead”
