The Dota 2 International 2015 starts today. Current prize pool is $17,454,097.

Why I got a university degree…

Woooooo TI5! Not sure who I’m rooting for. Probably one of the underdog US teams. I usually root for liquid but they’re no in this year.

Probably rooting for CoL. Or Archon if they make it out of the wild card games.

Are the Russian dota teams still good? If so, I’m going for them.

I don’t know

what’s up with the gif being all funky?

idk, Discourse don’t like .gifv

They are as russians as always. As the game is becoming a career, most western teams are multinational. Empire and Virtus.Pro are good, not underdogs neither favorites.

Empire is pretty good I think. Haven’t paid much attention to Dota 2 for the last few months though.

I also like to root for the Korean teams because I think it’s funny that Dota is the only eSport that they are bad at.

Koreans are bad at Dota? Lol, rip.
I guess no one is rushing out to import them like every other game.

Got an “anniversary” badge from Discourse. I cant believe its been a year already. Time goes by way too fast as an adult…

Dota was always a european and chinese thing, Koreans favorite Starcraft and Warcraft.

Well Steam community is down… god dammit

It’s gonna start, 4 teams will compete for two remaining spots in the main event.

Can’t remember if this old forums classic has been posted since the old forums went down…

Anyways happy forum birthday Kitty!

Hello beautiful people. How has everyone been? I’ve been lurking for a bit.

I just paid for my EMT classes that I’m starting in the Fall at my old community college. I’m pretty stoked, I’ll take one last class in the Spring and I’ll be certified to ride on an ambulance and hopefully get to be an EMT intern at a summer camp next year. And I’m still taking classes for my undergrad, so I’ll be busy.

I also bought a new skateboard. Haven’t ridden in a few years but I’ve been wanting to and it’ll make me get active, which I need to do. Anyone else here do any extreme sports? I wanted to get a flatland BMX bike, but just can’t afford it.

What’s new with you guys?

Good luck on your EMT classes man. That is not something I could handle haha.

I’ve started training for a 5K later this year. I run about a 23 minute 5K right now, but I’m hoping to shave it down to 21 or even 20 in the next few months.

How has everyone been?
[/quote]Pretty good minus the impending moving to an apartment. Oh and my sis who didn’t marry a US marine and started getting moved from one state to another is moving away to a town near Las Vegas with her husband. Just a general sad/“miss you” feeling since I all but know they’ll be fine and such but my that’s another sibling who’s going to be too far to drive to visit.

In other news I hate Nvidia DSR since it’s been buggy as far as what a allowable FPS max should be. Example is as follows: while my monitor is in it’s native 1920X1080 resolution anything above that resolution is now capped at 60 fps or less but if I change the resolution outside of the game so everything is shrunk it’ll be at whatever fps my monitor can handle at that res like 60 fps when at 4k or ~110 if at 2560X1440.

Thanks man. And I could not handle a 5k, not currently at least. But keep at it, I’m sure you can break 21 minutes. You’re pretty athletic, so you got it

@P_Anarchist - yes, of course you’re beautiful.

MVP.Phoenix woooooo!

Ugh, what a week and a half. Last friday - drunk day, Saturday - Hangover Day, Sunday and Monday work from home recovery, tuesday, went home, birthday, wed hangover day, thursday and friday, played with my brothers kids a lot, friday night, went to a friends house, drunk, saturday, went to watch inside out with the kids, today - sleep, now at work waiting for a performance review in the morning.

Did I miss anything worthwhile?
