Well I never had deer meat so does that mean I never tried breathing yet?
On this topic, has anyone ever had some gator? I want to try some next time I go down to Georgia or Louisiana.

it’s chewy. Buy tasty. Sort of a white meat. I breaded and fried mine. Only ever had it twice though. Not from those parts.

How would you say it compares to turtle if you’ve ever had that? I’ve had some fried turtle cuts before and with the right seasoning, it’s heaven on your taste buds. I imagine gator tastes similar with a much thicker texture.

[/quote]Never had it but I’m willing to try anything once. I’m not a huge seafood or sushi guy aside from a couple things. Can’t ever go wrong with crab, lobster, shrimp, or tilapia.
