Randomly matched with forum members - Have you met anyone?

Completely understand, i dont play with my mic on solo unless the people seem cool. I dont normally mute people unless they are annoying or obnoxious, but i find most people have been nice.

Yeah I’m the only one that seems to even like Miko as a character (let alone playing as Miko) out of you lot, but my Miko is already Rank 14 :open_mouth:

Yeah we’re not very meta in that sense haha

Also, add randomly matched AGAINST a streamer, rawrQuaza. No complaints from me. That was Saturday evening. Swung by the stream on Sunday to throw him a GG, because I believe in good sportsmanship, even if it’s not even a ā€˜sport’ to me. Makes the community a little better, I like to believe…

I actually love Miko. In the past he was my most played character. Thing is I don’t choose him unless there’s a tank on our team and that’s hardly ever…

Really?? I think got an email from him once with questions about my Gear Search app and I of course responded under the assumption he was a new player genuinely wanting to know something… So are you telling me I gave newbie advice to a streamer… :joy:

Hopefully he didn’t take it the wrong way

I don’t follow many streamers so there’s no way I would have known.

…because you’re such a good Miko that, if any of us played a tank, the game would be too easy

Aww thanks  You’re an amazing Mellka too.

Noticed you don’t play her much anymore either…

@Slif_One I should add in here, if y’all wanna add me and play some time, feel free. I keep some weird hours so despite the time difference I’m sure I’ll see ya.

Sure I’ll add you, I mostly play woth Aussies but when I’m alone I party with US and EU players, better to red bar in a premade than alone lol.

I’ve played against/with at least 3 forum members and there was a thread that a forum member created based on my playstyle of a character (https://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/t/toby-is-being-played-wrong-90-of-the-time/1490123)

I was up against @Battleporn yesterday on Incursion (catchy name, not easy to forget)… Have ran into ā€œJohn Cenaā€ (the one who always plays WF) a few times… @THaNaToS_J2 is a frequent team up in advanced story missions… i am starting to recognize more ppl as i browse through the blog posts

Unless it’s PvP vs a high level team then he has to go Orendi. (Unless he has prior permission during the lobby)

It’s amazing how many people you run into regularly now.
I’ve been trying out new characters and doing normal mode just to help a few of the newer players get the ball rolling. If we team up in a game Dante, feel free to group up! The people we play with every night don’t mind playing with people outside of our usual little nightly circle.

He is actually like one of the absolute best Orendi players, he has been level 10 while everyone else is level 5 or below a few times.

That’s cause he plays ā€œBob the Builderā€ for the first 10 minutes of the match! lol. But I’ll be damned, it’s a hell of a strat cause he racks up kills like crazy after that.

As you should. I find people get so focused on getting into a team fight with the other teams that they can sometimes totally forget about buildables or Thralls in Incursion. If you are coming back into the fray from base and you have extra shards to blow, you should be upgrading every buildable you see (even the ones that might never have a use in the match) because they give you a big boost to your XP :sunglasses:

I’m just here dishing out the likes 's now, haven’t come across anyone else I dont think (I always make a mental note of screen names on PS4).

I mainly pop into public PvE now (had some awful luck in PvP, all the other players are getting better, and I’m just getting worse, haha), most forum members are running into each other in PvP.

But I love reading that peeps are still meeting other peeps, hope everyone is making friends out of it, or just having it add to their overall enjoyment of BB

Yeah PvP is pretty hard if you are going in solo. I was attempting to complete Kleese’s ā€œBattlethroneā€ Lore the other day and pretty much all the teams I was on were trash and the other teams were either pre-made or were simply much better at the game. I even got matched against some of the regular Aussies on the last map I needed for the Lore and apparently gave them a bit of a work out (despite basically being down half a team) after several easy wins they apparently got from Public stomping that evening :sunglasses:

It was like having all these little house wreckers coming into your house (being my little Rift network) and trying to wreck the place and beat up the old man from all sides. Thankfully nobody likes a taser to the face :smirk:

I still like running PvE but I mostly run Advanced because of the chance of getting all possible Legendaries and Normal is just way too easy now. It is touch and go on Public though as you still get low level newbies that just run in and die or don’t know to come to the marker that the level 100 keeps spamming to try and get their attention (because I don’t always like being on chat). You also get the high level players that decide to bail if there’s even one low level player and we pick a more challenging mission, I mean what’s the point of bailing? You picked Advanced because you clearly wanted the challenge and what’s more challenging that carrying a few newbies through so they can see how an experienced player does it? They aren’t going to learn otherwise :disappointed:

Yeah i’ve seen him on Orendi a couple of times… even on WF he racks up kills and assists pretty quickly…
