Has no one here played rath right to say his sustain is weak is ludacris and yes his ultimate can be broken easily. Personally as Rath i dont use dreadwind unless i realy need to burst a high priority target or a target i know will run ASAP. Montana is easy just circle him raths atuo attack hits every thing in frount to the side and back of him to a degree just side swipe Montana and he is dead thats or just knock him up and proceed to dreadwind him its not hard. The only hard targets for me are Gal Bolder and isic basically any one with a Secondary shield
Lol, itās an fps, how is the montana just letting you circle him like that? And why would he not just knock dash past you to gain a range advantage and then slow you? His health pool is huge enough to live through the CS combo. As soon as you start dreadwinding, his ult cancels yours. And his abilities hit you hard enough that youāll likely need to retreat after said exchange.
Because, most Montanaās rush forward when they see someone dying, so in an attempt to catch up, theyāll use those abillities, and all you gotta do is out last Montanaās ult, not crazy hard to do unless itās 2 v 1.
(Iām French, Sorry.)
-Until lvl 5, itās very hard to kill an other player.
-It is very hard to hit a player with cross blades.
-His ultimate may be powerful, but relatively easy to avoid (dodge?) and full of characters are able to stop him:
Galilea with her shield, Ghalt with his mines (bombs) and chain, Shayne and Aurox with fetch and Montana with his ulti and his L1 (rush)
Orendi is able to dodge (avoid?) it with cancelled.
Montana, Isic, Toby, El Dragon, etc⦠are able to cash it without dying.
-The Rathās stun is very short.
-Playing with a physical character in First Person is hard too.
Saw a dude knock people into the air and then use cross blades, that is the ultimate way to do it lol.
Send the enemy in the air is completely useless for Rath . I often lose sight of the enemy when I do .
No no no, i love it. Send them up in the air and hit them with the crossblade where they canāt dodge it. <-- Pretty much 80% of my gameplay when i use Rath, Kock up+Silence with smash, shield bypass+slow with crossblades and thats it.
60% of the time, it works every time.
Its not hard to use rath in first person mode two of his skills put him in third person view his ultimate for the full duration and catalytic smash you just general need to know were to aim his auto attacks and thats not hard at all
I had not thought about that combination.
Maybe but when you attack with R2 (normal attack) itās hard to lock the enemy who often jumps or runs anywhere.
Off topic, but with what ID do you see me ?
(In my preferences, I put Orendi in the field āNameā and I have an other name in the field āUser Nameā. I canāt change the User Name. So I want that people see me as āOrendiā(my Name, according to the field āNameā in preferences) in this forum. You see me as ? (which name))
I just mentioned that strategy right before you said āSend the enemy in the air is completely useless for Rath . I often lose sight of the enemy when I doā ā¦
I see it as darkkai27 Orendi
@darkkai27, pm me and we can get your name sorted out.
Thanks.
Thanks too.
No worries.
Rath is pretty weak at the beginning of round, you need to be very cautious who and when to attackā¦
But as he gains levels, his damage is going pretty high, there were rounds I was facerolling everything in later levelsā¦
Hereās a funny story, my friend joined me on few beta roundsā¦
He was playing Rath⦠After first round he was saying: Oh my gawd, heās so weak, I canāt kill Miko, oh my gawdā¦
I told him: stick with the team and later he has pretty good dmgā¦
After next round: Oh my gaaawd heās so OPā¦
I would let him be for a while so people play with / against him more⦠I think dmg nerf would liquidate himā¦
And please, donāt try to force him an assassin role, he does not look like one at all⦠Thank you.
I have to disagree. I rarely have an issue with Rath. Like most have said all it really takes is CC,map awareness or some ranged attacks to put him down. Now I played the last open beta, and main Miko so I know how Rath plays. His ult really isnāt that bad, as soon as you see him coming disengage to a more favorable position. I usually dominate Rath 1v1 with Miko, and most other characters. Especially if whoever playing him hasnāt brought some speed enhancing gear.
its really all about keeping him at a distance and kiting him until he dies, dodge his knockup.
I feel like his ult needs a damge nerf, not movement speed. Iāve seen the ult do 2000 damage in 2 seconds, and that angers me in a game with this much sustainability. I can understand it killing quick in games like Overwatch, were health is scarce but in this game, he can end a killstreak quick. People persist to say āyou just need silence, stun or knockback.ā This is stupid because you have to be a charcter with one of these and you also have to make sure you have this skill ready before engaging. Also, Rath can get silence of catalytic smash so he can basically make you an easily killable, immobile object.
