I can confirm that he can go backwards and he can also… JUMP.
It took me way too long to realize I could jump while sublimated
Heh, I mean, it’s not like he jumps high enough for that to be useful in a lot of cases. I do recall jumping though.
Wow so many people don’t use him right, I have the legendary gear for him, all his lore, level 13, kill 15 enemies without dying

… no offense, but that sounds absolutely horrible.
I actually think Kelvin could use some minor buffs. His ult has a lot working against between placing it and having it actually materialize. His sublimate also has a long CD and he’s a big target. Very susceptible to cc effects.
How do you play him? I mean i kind of play defensely and is really good at soloing camps and setting up kills for teammates. To be honest Sublimate cooldown isnt that bad with the right helix’es and Chomp has like a 3-4 second cooldown end game which gives him a lot of sustain with his passive. Also soaks up a lot of damage considering a lvl 10 Orendi can barely quarter health him with Shadow Pillar.
You “build” his shield attack after attack, in good hand your health isn’t even touched
Take the Helix health steal with chomp (I have the legendary gears of him, if you missed with chomp, you can use it immediately ! and that’s a + !)
stun your prey with the wall if you can’t use sublimate at the moment ! if they are 5 on you, use the secondary attack who pound the ground to repel them a maximum until the allies arrive, or your skills are available
If there are good players in the ennemi team, don’t hesitate to go with an ally 
one is enough
i feel like kelvin isnt as strong as everyone says. even with gear he gets burned down fairly quickly
I think he is a ganking tank. He runs in and runs out getting stuns and eating someone but staying in the line of fire too long is bad. Gotta exchange so the damage you take is mainly on your shield after abilities and use your team. I found or all too quickly how unsafe it is to be alone as kelvin with no subliminate up
Can’t make Kelvin only stun one person as he has a challenge to stun 3 battleborn 25 times, it was kind of fun doing that challenge but no it isn’t op in the slightest
