Spamming/Trying to use on Xbox results in the same "expired"message.

I’m sorry, but it simply doesn’t work on PS4. I spammed the submit button a hundred times (literally) and it won’t work. It apparently worked on PC and XBONE but not on PS4.
So you guys might want to look into this again. :weary:

There was an honest post telling that theres a major bug within the Shift-programm and that they already work on it for a while now. Sure a fast solution would be great for us and GBX, but it seems to be a bigger piece of work.
I don´t see whats negative about it that GBX responds so fast while being honest with us.

hey gbx, im freaking pissed! but you know what would really soothe my mood? 420 free platinum.

true story: the first time it failed on xbone, i was freaking out. like what? what time is it? what is today? googling “today’s date” i knew i shouldn’t have farmed 800 geoff babies for dragon lore. with a shift in focus, i now breathe easy…

edit: shift code just worked on xb1 after about a handful of tries

Spamming it is definitely not working on ps4. Tried for a solid 30 minutes

Expired Code Simulator 3000 is not the game I want play.

On PS4 code expired. Spamming the code gets nothing.

The issue is mainly that there are so many other issue floating around with this game right now and most of them are taking an immense amount of time with little word more than “We know it’s an issue, but you’ll just have to deal with it”. I appreciate their effort, but telling us to “[continue] Spamming the button…” and such is just plain insulting.

Agreed. I just wanted to redeem the code quickly since I need to work on my bachelor thesis… I can’t spam the submit button for 12 hours.
Plus I can’t even just try in a week, since it’s gonna expire tomorrow, so…
They either extend the expiration date until the Shift Bug is fixed or they just take a harder look at the issue on PS4.

That’s not the solution, no, just the work around. As I said above, we’re aware of the problem and we have a more permanent fix coming soon.

In the short term, we’re currently investigating to see if there is a particular issue with the PS4 code. I’ll keep you guys posted.

And we would appreciate & accept that as a work around IF it actually worked.

I’ve yet to see a single confirmed report of it working on the PS4 here, on Facebook or Twitter or on any fan sites.

There is clearly an issue of some description affecting the PS4 & some Xbox One users.

Thanks for taking a look at the problem on the PS4.
Spamming usually worked for me, but this time it just won’t, and since so many (maybe all. I didn’t see a single PS4 user say it worked) other PS4 players seem to have the same issue, it just feels like there is some PS4 specific bug :sweat:

Just took me 30+ tries on PC.

Interestingly, the error message bounced between being expired and redemption failed message.

I’m being told the code should now be working on all platforms. We’ll be extending the code through Monday to ensure everyone has a chance to redeem it.

I just got it to work on PS4 finally. Not sure what happened, but it went through. Was it something you did on your end @JoeKGBX or was I just lucky?

Why are they giving away codes if the system is broken? Everyone who plays this weekend should get the skins unlocked without the code then.
