No, I do not think that is fast enough.
Actually if that was the case then I would expect to see M4 have closer to 5 times as many dedicated drops as M1.
From what I can tell, there is a Less than 10% chance of getting a dedicated drop, calculated before anything else. That’s determined even before the number of legendaries to be dropped after a kill. I had 5% dedicated drops at M0 and 8% at M4., but M4 had 6 times the number of legendaries drop.
Based on this you’ve got a maximum 8% chance PER ATTEMPT to get any dedicated drop. That’s 2.6% chance at best PER ATTEMPT to get the specific item you want. And if you’re wanting it to have any anointment, well… You do the math on 2.6% chance of getting the item you want, and then only a 25% chance of that item having any anointment at all, and then the chances of you getting a specific anointment.
Statistically speaking, farming for M4 only God Roll items is a waste of time. You’ll win more often in Vegas.
One one hand, that is correct.
On the other the anointments have shifted to Guns almost exclusively at M4. Again it’s a case where I would like to see 1,000 runs done to get more accurate data, but if I was going to farm Graveward for an anointed shield, I would not do it at M4.
For the legendaries I would actually look at the number per item type. That’s much more useful.
Agreed, breaking it down to item type is definitely the way to go.
1000 runs will be very good data. Maybe we can start some sort of shared data pool. I can see someone pulling out their eye balls doing 1000 runs and count everything that dropped per run… your 400 is already impressive enough
Here’s something I saw as I was writing every weapon down.
Did you know that their is a Moar Linoge, and a Moarr Linoge in the game?
I thought I was making a mistake as I as was writing them down. Thought for sure it was spelled one way and then I saw the other. Had to look it up before I realized that they both exist.
This is interesting especially since these low drop rates are coming from a boss, not a rare enemy or enemy class which have much lower drop rates overall. Dedicated drops might as well not exist if they’re this low.
That would mean that something tracks your drops, which i don’t think is true.
It’s like rolling dice, the dice don’t remember what you last rolled
On GW running tvh with m3 I am yet to get legendary class mods for my Flak I do get a lot of legendarys but it also seems most of the gun drops I’m getting are the same guns over and over.
They’re both Linoge’s. The Moar vs. Moarr is just a part prefix that declares how many bullets it fires at once. Moar is x3 and Moarr is x4.
Theres moarrr too…@ x5
It is what it is.
Between the Artifact drop numbers and Dedicated Loot drop rates, statistics suggests that there is something limiting drop rates of specific items. The odds of doing 4 sets of 100 runs with a significant increase in total drops with each set and randomly coming up with 2 perfectly matched pairs is astronomical. That’s lottery winning odds.
Well im just shocked you didnt get 100 woodblockers
I actually got very few of those.
The Monocle on the other hand…10 of those. And 9 Malek’s Bane.
I might, I’ll have to check because I can’t help picking them up and just can’t bring myself to get rid of them.
Vegas time! lol
I wish I had your luck, for some reason they just don’t drop for me. although I did pick up a torgue grenade mod that mirvs into three grenades, then each of those three mirv into three more grenades. plus they gain 15% damage for each enemy damaged. cluster f! ck grenade or something like that.
No, I am unfortunately ps4.
Sorry.
Its fine. I am going to farm Graveyard tonight.
