I find her the easiest to land crits with out of anyone, so while I of course wouldn’t reccomend taking an inferior stat, I wouldn’t reccomend betting against it either. A few hundred shards aren’t difficult to get
Ah, I agree. And, my current build with both her and Miko is ms with heal, cooldown with heal, and white heal. Sometimes the ms is swapped for reload speed which benefits both greatly
Rip my Reyna knowledge credibility. Would have helped if I had read everything too. Thats why I test all my stuff in the Deande section, to avoid stuff like this. Anyway, I’m trying to get better at Reyna myself so this knowledge is very useful indeed. Thanks
I would highly recommend attempting to make 2 seperate loadouts for Reyna(which is especially doable now) one for dedicated healer Reyna with the other based in skirmisher homing reyna. I don’t have a lot of experience with healer Reyna but for homing I liked AS and AD with a -skill generator(didn’t know it affected her heals tho) I took purples but if you wanna be a late bloomer with homing plasma you can’t go super wrong with a sym gauntlet and vozf(though now I am not sure it’s amazing on her)
Curious as to how ppl like reload on her. I wouldn’t take negative reload stats but I never really thought it super necessary to buff it
@HandsomeCam if you got a bola’s it’ll make your priority target even more nasty!(basic but still vicious)
Sigh… WHY must everyone keep pointing out that i don’t have a Bolas Target Finder? I DO MY BEST, DAMN IT!!
I don’t have one either so don’t feel bad, I thought I was one of the few missing it
It refuses to drop!! Is there certain chars it will not give it to or something?
If I found it many of my builds would become far more dangerous but that and voxis are the 2 that elude me
Literally got dozens of bolases(bolasi?) y’all need to come farming with me. I bet u could get you all max roll bolas before I get a single sym gauntlet
Not LITERALLY… But half a dozen prolly…
ISIC: F*ck you.
Lol seriously though I was thinking about seeing if there was anybody without bolases that wanted to run the experiment with me to piggy back off my luck when I learned about its buff…
I mean you can put it on like any character now and it will be pretty good…
Yes. Later today. I’m off all day. Drunk right now and dleepy.
I agree with this whole heartedly.
I also agree with @dantesolar build as well. His build totally shuts down Benedicts especially. If your team has melee’s I would mostly recommend going with lockdown and pistol damage increase on lv 3.
@beta382 brings up some great points too.
Reyna was my first BB I played and have the most time and played matches with believe it or not and tried out so many gear sets and helix options… not saying this is relevant but love to help out others with these things so they don’t have to go through the same amount of time I have. There are tons of ways to build her but I switched to attack Reyna mostly. Healing is great but if you can’t help with damage you are just a supply station that gives overshield with a tad of healing. I recommend trying a shard gain - skill power, atk speed + atk speed upon critical hit and recoil + reload speed (epic).
Like what @epicender584 advised, I find it extremely easy to hit crits, especial if you have recoil gear you can do some damage instead of being a supply shield station. You can do some damage with shield + heals on the side.
Having shard gain is extremely useful because I’m not sure about everyone but leveling up can be a drag and without some type of shard gain, you will spend your time doing shard runs and being left behind in levels. Shard and wrench is nice but then you will be taking away from your fire power in doing so.
Everyone here made a lot of valid points, so hopefully you take everything and make your own ultimate Reyna!
Fyi: a lot of the legendaries mentioned works great as well. I just don’t use them, personal reasons.
Starts to pat Cam’s head, but seems to think better of it. I think I got mine via a Jennerit faction pack, Cam. Go run Toby’s DLC and you should get one…eventually.
The build I use for Reyna has been pretty damn effective. Especially with the recent change to FW Update.
I can mix out item 1, but generally:
This brings me good shield recharge, with 400+ shield (total), 5% sprint, and 22%ish reduction in cooldown (not including +15% from helix) +4 second reductions on proc with skills that all already have low CD’s on them.
Since you’ll be constantly spamming skills you’ll sit on 37% CD reduction (give or take). Once you average in the 4 second reductions that works out to feel more like 50-60% reductions.
This combination, along with the right helix choices for support (I get my “kills” by keeping the team alive to make them), allows you to spam OS sometimes to the point where you can OS the same team mate before the first one wears off.
I’ve tried adding items that give skill/heal and they just can’t compete with that amount of cooldown.
Let’s assume you buff vital protocol (through gear) to 300 per use. I’m getting 2 off at 250 each compared to your single 300. I’m also able to utilize my ult and priority target twice as often.
Over the course of a few minutes, I’ll have 5000 healing (not counting OS) versus your 3000. Usually more than that if I get lucky a few times and catch those 4 second cooldowns.
It gets even better at level 10 when your ult also provides the OS.
I would try it if you haven’t understanding that you’re playing much more defensively with her. Your dps comes from keeping your team alive. And it’s fun to watch a team try to take out someone and they get a last minute OS/heal, followed by getting ult knocked back and watching another OS/heal get applied, and just when you wear that one down they get OS’d again.
I believe it’s recieved from Antem, on advanced
Does anyone ever take, “The Best Defense” at level 4? Even if there’s no one else on your team that can heal?
I sometimes do. The AoE on the Plasma Pulse is often more useful, though, as it gives her a marginal amount of waveclear.
Does anyone know if “the best defense” applies to the overshield granted by “huddle up”?
