skip specing into hard to kill. asbestos along with a rr is plenty. also steady as she goes is a bit of a waste, as is divergent likeness unless you’re doing two pistols.
Depends- I switch out maxing Lay Waste, Divergent Likeness and Out of Bubblegum depending on where I’m going- areas with lots of mobs get Lay Waste maxed, certain raid bosses or Digistruct Peak runs get this build flex. Also, if I’m using a Rough Rider I use this build…
Shrug. I’ve been running one build. I’ve just found divergent likeness or hard to kill wasted points, mostly the latter. I played sal long eoungh that running with two pistols is too bland for me, I just use em for back up.
Do you mind if I ask what it is? I just started an OP 8 reset and just finished Frostburn Canyon- about to go meet Ellie in The Dust.

Not too much difference. I basically run this with three different sals, except pimperzerk runs filled to the brim and skips yippie ki yay, since he runs raids. I have a grogg on hand for each cause i have the loot hunt variants. I have 3 at op8. one is a pimperzerk for farming, leveling anything and usually runs a neutral monk com, unless traveling. This one is cruise control. one is a ‘legit’ killer, with interfacer and fist, alternating pair is Harold and grog. This guy will have longer raid fights but has destroyed everything, leg gunzerker or cem.
The last is orphanzerk (deputy sal) when i get bored mowing stuff but want to play sal, still with harold and grog for revives. I just stick with leg gunzerker with this one as he is for fun.
RR is the shield on all of them, chain lightening for quick healing on hidden or spread out mobs firing bullets or storm front for coop during revives under fire. I might run sherrifs badge or bone. i usually stick with bone for cool down or elemental damage. Sals fire rate is too insane with the badge for my tastes.
Thanks- I’ve seen the Deputy Sal build mentioned at the old site and here- is that your build? I have most of the gear at level but I’ll need to start the 4 dlc again to get current level Pimpernels and RR, et al. I’ll give it a try when I start Bloodshot Stronghold…
I have three sals. Only one of them is set with a orphanmaker and fist for deputy build. It’s mostly for fun, like I said.
