Season Pass RipOff!

Train Simulator comes to mind in terms of total pricing to get everything

As always, if you want everything in a game all at once wait until the GOTY (Super/Elite/Deluxe/Ultimate) Edition on the platform of your choice. You may be a few years late to the party but at least you’ll get all of the then current content and none of the (or hopefully fewer) bugs and other issues that were in the game at launch…

$139 for an entire base game and 6 DLCs? Yeah, I’ll take that over a live service BS with premium currency, loot boxes, and seasonal $20 battle passes that are filled with 90% BS and filler.

I’ve seen that type of model destroy multiple of my favorite franchises, so I’m happy to see GBX NOT do that. Really impressive when you think about it too, considering their publisher is one of the greediest companies out there who have successfully turned the NBA games into casino simulators

Really can’t think of many games that where cheaper thrn this

Overwatch cost me 10 bucks and still play it

Team Fortress 2 i got with the orange box and well over 6k hours on it

Diablo 2, old game so have no idea how much i spent on it haha but i’m definitely getting the remake and again thousands of hours haha

Most of the games i played where priced the same as BL3 for less play time

Only Diablo 3 needed as much attention as this game though  but in the end they managed the game and i stopped regretting buying it and now still often play it (i actually went to D3 because BL3 wasn’t doing much for me after M2.0)

You dont have to buy it.period. freedom of choice. You know people have reviewed the content alrrady so you can do your research and see if its worth it or not for yourself. Dont assume that everybody else feels that way. Things do cost money as was stated earlier.

I feel the price is fine. While I only picked up BL3 relatively late and bought the Ultimate edition on sale, I did buy everything for BL2 as it was released. The total was probably €250, and I never regretted it. I put 800+ hours into that game, which is a great return for the money. If I had played BL3 from the start, I’d have done the same and also not regretted.

These days, I’m already happy when I get 25-30 hours of quality entertainment out of a €60 game, and it doesn’t happen all that often. It’s somewhat rare that a game really grabs me like every single Borderlands game has done, so I appreciate DLCs and season passes to keep these games fresh and moving forward. A bit like a MMO, minus the monthly subscription fee.

I hope we’ll see a Season Pass 3, actually.

I am not upset at all at what I have paid for BL3. Preordered the version of the game that included SP1 and also bought SP2. I have played BL3 at least 1000 hours at this point and got way, way more than my money’s worth (obviously with that kind of playtime). I was happy to pay GBX some more money for SP2, even though I have not played DLC6 yet, and would do it again to support GBX, because they have delivered some really cool stuff over the years.

All that said, I do have to admit that the amount of content in SP2 appears to me not to justify the price.

Season: Pass.

No salt. Only I Can’t Believe It’s Not Busted.
