I didn’t know this was a thing. I know at least 2 guys round here that love this com. If that’s a thing then having it fixed would be pretty sweet. While we’re talking about coms that need fixing, Gaige’s Roboteer com melee bonuses should be applied to Death Trap as well as Gaige.
One man’s flaw is another man’s welcome challenge. Merely pointing out that part of the reason people are still playing BL2 is that overcoming challenges is rewarding in and of itself. Some of us came late to the game ( cough cough,
)and learning enough about the game to make the seemingly impossible happen is what engaged some of us to the level we are engaged.
I don’t disagree, point of fact I don’t think anyone here disagrees, but you could be chasing perfection with such laser focus that you miss the good stuff you’ve already got. Something something, can’t see the Forest for the trees, something something.
I have to exuberantly agree with this. First gen pearls don’t drop until UVHM except for the slot machines in Flamerock Refuge, and if you’re not already hooked that’s a step I would think you’d not be overly eager to take. As for the second gen pearls, I’m 1000+ hours in (could be way more, I have no reliable way to check on PS3) and I’ve still never seen even one, so to me you might as well be arguing about the length and girth of a unicorn’s horn.
This is definitely something to consider. It’s like trimming your hair. The sideburns are uneven, I’ll just take a little off here. Now the other side is too long so I’ll take another bit, now the other side, etc… Eventually you look like this guy
The UCP did so much adjusting that it eventually grew past minor “balancing tweaks” and into full on reconstructive surgery. So much work has gone into Borderlands 2 since release, who is the judge of “best game possible”? Forgive the hyperbole, but would you give art notes to DaVinci on the Mona Lisa?
@gmanswan, no one is saying that some tweaks wouldn’t be welcome, only that a lot of work has gone into the game and its maintenance at this point and that resources have been poured into making BL3, so we should be happy we have something as great as BL2. Even in it’s “flawed” state it’s still an incredible piece of game. The pennies are always shinier in someone else’s pocket, and if you measure your lawn’s excellence by the greenery in your neighbor’s yard you’ll never be happy. Fantasizing is fun, but in BL2’s advancing years fantasizing is all we can reasonably expect to do.

6 ammo per shot!? OMG!
