Well, I’m trying to remain patient, but its been 2 weeks since my OP and have yet to receive any insight. So, let me further clarify with simple questions that can be answered with simple answers. I’m not looking for complicated answers, or a detailed analysis of future mechanic changes. Just a basic Yes, No, Maybe, Undecided, “Haven’t given it much thought” or “The Devs are looking into it”. Nothing that would require weeks to find out.
Are you considering making changes to the loadout mechanic in the future?
Do you plan on offering more than 9 loadouts in the future?
Are you considering character specific loadouts in any form?
Will any additions to the loadout menu only be accessible by using Platinum?

Wow, I would have thought the official forums would have been the best place to get official answers. I guess I should have known that 3rd party sites were the best place to find answers…
Ok, so when you said you’d be happy to look into it, you actually meant “at some point I might ask someone if I feel lik it”.
Pardon my curt tone, but I inquired about this weeks ago, and that reddit was answered within 2 hrs of being posted. I fail to see the point of an official forum when third party sites garner preference when providing answers.
If you have no intention looking into it, don’t offer up a bromide and hope the person moves on. It’s patronizing.
Certainly didn’t mean to blow this off here. Admittedly, this fell off my radar until today. The only reason I also pointed you in the direction of the Reddit post was that the answer was there and directly from Varnell no less.

You have this one request. Now how many requests does Joe have that he has to keep tabs on and get updates from the developers when he has the time? I haven’t gotten to play Battleborn (or Destiny for that matter) with Joe for quite some time because he’s been quite busy as of late. You’re going to have to be patient and occasionally remind the developers from time to time. Now if they weren’t so busy then you might have cause to be upset.
I’m annoyed because I took him at his word and waited without pestering him, reminded him when he spoke of having a meeting with the devs, and waited again. I tried to be patient, even though I knew the questions weren’t so complex that it need a lengthy discussion.
When I tried again for clarification you directed me to the BB subreddit which had the same general question and was answered immediately. That meant that the information was readily available at any time, had he simply inquired. If he was too busy to be bothered, he never should have said he would look into it.
I understand the community manager is busy, but when someone tells you they will look into it and let you know when there’s more information, than don’t look into it, and/or forget, that’s cause for justifiable irritation. That is not irrational.
While it’s easy to say going forward that he shouldn’t bother responding if people are going to react in this manner. The fact of the matter is, if you give your word, you should honor it. That concept is applicable to all aspects in a person’s life. That is what a responsible person does.
