Sorry, hope someone is still reading this, last questions about mission items.

  1. Since I haven’t found great loot yet (did find my first plasma caster recently – fun!), I actually still rely on some mission items. But since most mission items you can only get once per playthrough (since once you complete the mission, you usually cannot access the item generator anymore), I want to plan one or two correctly. Example: FotF. I already tossed my NVHM version out. If I wait until I finish the main story in TVHM, I can get a level 50 one by not accepting “Enkindling” until then – right? Which means: 1. I get a nice level 50 FotF, and 2. I can’t use one until 50. OK so I’ll deal with that tradeoff. I’m 42 now and using a 34 RR from Normal. And then when I enter UVHM, hopefully soon, I’ll … what? I mean if I wait too long, my TVHM-FotF will be pretty outdated, but if I get it too early, then I will miss out getting a really good one for the endgame … no?

  2. On a related note, another question: I accidentally ported to Hunter’s Grotto upon starting TVHM – does that mean the whole DLC is stuck at around 38 (my level when I entered TVHM), or will it start to scale when I go back? I left the main area and didn’t even meet Hammerlock in TVHM there yet.

  3. I’m asking partly because I think my first question is related. I would like to upgrade my RR, and I believe I can get a RR from Bulwark even after I complete the quest. So, conceivably, I could go there now (before I finish main storyline), at level 42ish, get a RR, and then come back at 50 and get another? Or am I mixing something up again?

EDIT: two last ones:
a.I found all 5 vault symbols (Cult of the Vault) in Sanctuary with Gaige, and I’m pretty sure I remember where they are, but I’m missing one now. I can’t seem to get Krieg up above the alley behind Marcus’s. Is there some other way?
b. Do you “hold” the Grog Nozzle when in BXR? In other words, does it heal when you melee in rampage or when FotF flares when in Rampage?

  1. You can reset UVHM as many times as you want, but you’ll start back with Clappy outside of Liar’s Burg. I wouldn’t worry about farming until level 72.
  2. Everything scales to level 50 after you’ve defeated Jack.
  3. You need to get the mission to kill him first. But he does have a chance to drop one every time you kill him afterwards. It should scale to your level (+/- 2). It won’t go over 50 in TVHM though.
  4. Cult of the Vault locations. Krieg can access all of them. Jump on the bench outside of Marcus’ shop, then the awning near it, then on the roof. Jump over his sign and you should be able to get to it.
  5. You only hold your ax.
