Yea, so. The skins kind of suck. They remind me of the color changing from Borderlands 1. I was really expecting to see some skins like Smite has, those completely change the character’s look. Come on Gearbox, push the Envelope.

So for those people who play against bots, you should know the bots choose random skins. Well, it seems bots can use some of the special unavailable skins. Didn’t screenshot, but I did notice a Ghalt running around on my bot PvP match with a zombie-esque skin that looked pretty cool

There is going to be 3 Tiers of Skins in Battleborn:

Tier 1 - Basic change of colors (this is what the beta is showing off right now, will be free on launch)
Tier 2 - Change of textures (probably will be free [?])
Tier 3 - Change of models & animations (probably will not be free)
