Totally agree with this, several of the skins seem to be priced higher than they should be. Caldarious new one has less changes on it then his first skin that cost 420plat, I do not understand this pricing at all. Same with Montana’s new one, I like it alot and it fits his character and I feel the only reason why it is so expensive is because GBX knows people will want it even though it adds nothing really new (like the music added to rath’s summer skin). The price of alot of these do seem to be all over the place and don’t make a lot of sense. I would be more inclined to spend money on this if the skins followed a specific price range per tier. I do think Rath’s new one is in the right spot, don’t think it adds music or anything but it has a lot of changes to it where as Monty’s and Ambra’s don’t add to much to the character and if you ask me Ambra’s looks like a slight change to her Egyptian skin.

Edit: One last thing I think it would be nice if GBX implemented a way to gain platinum within game. Maybe its just a daily thing like you log in play a match and get 10plat. I feel like that would be a good way to get people to log in everyday to play, it would allow people to work towards something they want but still take time.

I think they should keep their game as far away from overwatch as possible. YEAH, its sucks some skins are over priced. BUT its because of those skins, people who play the game are able to get free game modes, maps, and characters. Those skins are what helping the game keep going. which would you like, pay for every map, character and game modes they come out with, or get them for free? Because its not like they are forcing you to buy the skins or taunts they put on sale. Again, I do agree that some of the pricing Is a bit ridiculous. But I can also see why they have it this way.

In an AMA they had recently Mr. Varnell stated that they’ve discussed a way for players to convert their in-game credits into Platinum

Hmm…so BB has the most expensive skins for being a game you have to pay for…plus there’s the season pass (which you can tack on to Division as well)…Not to keen into dumping my money into this. F2P games can get away with it because the base game is free xP

I like to imagine that one day they’ll have skins that are actually imaginitive and move away from these seasonal/holiday skins. The first batch was awful the second was generic and this third one is just as awful as the first because they seem to enjoy this dumb “halloween” theme. Skulls and undead palette swaps.

Admittedly there are some gems though like Shayne and Auroxs balloon animal skin or Pendles steel skin… skin.

That’s cool beans. Halo 5 has all DLC free and gave out free stuff.
Was a full priced game and has micro-transactions.
No excuse for this game to be full priced, season pass AND micro-transactions D:<

I’d definitely buy the skin if it comes with new sound and maybe a change in the color of attacks.

For example, Orendi’s pillars could be a different color.BUT, not sure how this would work out with other characters like oscar mike…

All the season pass does is give you story content. All the multiplayer stuff and characters are free.

Halo 5 gave people free multiplayer content too but it also doesnt offer free Single Player content.

Season pass gives more than just story DLC.

Yes, early access to characters and 5 hero keys.

However those characters are free and just require patience to unlock without the hero keys. Getting them is really just a perk.

Is that confirmed? I had read it that season pass gave you access to the DLC and the DLC had unique skins/taunts.

I think GBX needs to come up with a better structure for skin -prices and needs to define what makes a tier !

I’d definitely pay for them. Heck, I’ve already did it - I play only PVE mode, and when I preordered deluxe version it means I paid for all my content.

The bummer about the DLC PvE stuff is that it’s even shorter than the 8 missions in the game.

I would be inclined to agree with you if those things were indeed free.

Those game modes, maps and characters were paid for when I purchased $60 game + $20 season pass. I guess I’m starting to feel like we should be grateful to GBX for providing something we already paid for.

I’m not debating whether or not they have a place in the game but having personally dropped $80 on the game not counting microtransactions I’m not getting any content for “free”
