Lip sync have finally been fixed:
That mod works amazingly, I can confirm. I had slightly sped up lips at 75FPS, but this fix makes it actually sync at that framerate. It works great when combined with ENB’s fixes.
Plus, I’m still tweaking my ENB, but I have yet to upgrade to the newer versions of ENB with the actual weather and location based editing. Mostly, I’ve been working on unifying weathers to my new settings, tweaking my HDR settings, small stuff. Oh, and subsurface scattering. Goats and some animals look bad with it though, I guess they don’t have proper subsurface maps.
Good to hear, haven’t been able to test it myself.
That guy is a SKSE wizard, I don’t trust his Crash Fixes mod just yet though.
I feel like once you start tweaking your own enb you never stop.
Also Vivid Weathers
Probely won’t fix that but I found it appropriet.
I’m waiting for my fiber to be installed befor I mod agian so I can actually download the mods.
Oh yea SkyTest has been updated, it’s currently a bit broke but the author is working on it.
The author is still stuborn but seems to have soften up a bir.
At this point, somebody should just port the model from Goat Simulator and start there, it’ll be infinitely better than the PS2 reminiscent model in the game now.
I think I stole the ESP from Natural Lighting and Atmospheric’s ENB.
I don’t know why I’m going in reverse, but I know I have somebody’s crash fixer SKSE plugins. My guess is that it tells the game just to ignore more exceptions that don’t really matter.
Maybe we’ll see True Goats one day from the True Wolfs/Elks guy… I think those are from the same guy
Well the new NLA uses Vivid Weather as a base/requerment so you should be fine on that front.
His Crash Fixes, that’s the name of the mod, does a lot of cool things but I’m going to let it mature for a while to see if anything happens, remember stableUgrids?
Also the author has admited he doesn’t know why some things work.
I wish he released the OS Allocation seperatly because that part is amazing.
What’s that do?
It’s fairly new? Probably don’t have it then.
Related to this: For some reason, my underwater doesn’t seem to be working properly, in or out of ENB, so something seems to be mucking up RW2 and Water Colors.
It disables Skyrims Memory allocation and uses a regular C Malloc.
It’s an optional of his Crash Fixes mod and uses a pre loader.
A plus of that is that it basically halfs loading times.
Fairly, it’s from the same guy who fixed Lip sync.
As I said I’d stay away until it’s heavily tested.
Weird, I haven’t used the two together yet so I don’t know if that’s normal.
Well, it worked before just fine. I reinstalled them, maybe I need to rerun to DYNDOLOD or whatever patch in TES5Edit.
Edit: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76101/?
This is fairly new, and it seems like a pretty good idea so far.
Well this is cool
Free update from Legendary version of Skyrim to Skyrim Special Edition for those who don’t want to click the link.
It seems to be a whole other version of the game though. I wonder if I can just port my mods, if there is any benefit to it.
I bet some mods will break and need to be updated but given that Skyrim is still pretty popular with the modding community I doubt they’ll stay broken for long.
If it’s a new engine SKSE and ENB needs to be updated, the normal ones should work but it’s bethesda so the probely wont.
I honestly just expect that horrible lighting will be a dll inject, kind of like SKGE, and there won’t be a new engine.
It also seems like they added a grass mod and moss rocks into the game…
Have I mention how horrible the new lighting looks?
Wow it’s free, I wonder why ween you can go to the Nexus and get all the new things but better for free.
Mention it one more time for good luck.
Yeah, my game currently looks much better, mostly thanks to one effect: Parallax. I don’t even have the terrain parallax on, that’s too intensive, I have the ENB parallax fix on and it makes the game look so much better on the roads and such. They should’ve fixed their stupid shader.
It looks horrible and doesn’t fit Skyrim.
The first thing they show of the remaster has this weird yellow tint that looks like a rad storm from Fallout.
Plus they PS3 normal game had a clear day with a blue sky…
There’s another sceen were they try to show off a sunset and it looks all weird and not at all like a sunset.
Then there’s the sceen with a dragon were they just slapped on a red filter that makes it look like the ■■■■■■■ apocalypse.
Oh yea the dragons fire looks like a laser…
Like wtf Bethesda.
I honestly don’t get how people can be hyped about this…
Yeah. I much prefer what I’ve done to my own game, minus a few things not working as I’m trying to get them to. Like, they’ve committed a lot of what I’d call the “sins of postprocessing”. Overuse of bloom, sun beams, ignoring the subtlety of certain effects, etc. It irks me so much. Like, in my Skyrim ENB, bloom exists, but only when objects are bright enough to reasonably create such glare (except for certain objects I need to fix, but that’s beside the point). You don’t just use it all willy nilly, use some fog if you need it. And sunbeams should only be noticable in dusty situations. My sunbeams are small, and only exist so the sun peaks through leaves and stuff. That is, until the game appears dusty, which is an uncommon situation, usually reserved for when the sun peaks out during storms.
The “enb” of the remastered version is horrible. Oversaturated. For the rest, it looks like 2012 Skyrim modding.
Why not remaster Morrowind or Oblivion, two games that really need it? They just want to make easy money…
Watch, the feet will be the exact same feet from vanilla Skyrim. Wait, I mean pancakes.
Free update is free update, besides not everyone is on PC yet.
But it’s only free for PC users…
For now but I’m willing to bet those who have a digital copy/purchase will likely get it although I could see why they wouldn’t besides older PS3/360’s not being powerful enough to run the game anymore at desirable frame rates.
