Is it me or now killing enemies with slayer mode (melee when below 15%) don t give second wind? Was it like that before?
No, it was change in the patch.
Yeah it’s changed. Previously, a Slayer melee attack would just do 100M damage or whatever, always giving you a second wind.
Now you deal regular melee damage and the game kills the enemy after that and it doesn’t count as a player attack. Hence no second wind unless the enemy had so little health left that your melee attack killed them on its own.
It’s not ideal but I’m sure this was meant to fix the exploit that you could instakill a boss with Ties That Bind just by meleeing some random pushover goon close to them.
