hmmmm maybe like this, you have a small wind up, you’re taken to 3rd person view, then blast off for maybe 4 sec? stil faster and more manuverable and if you hit someone, you stun them for 2 sec, still can be used to escape and initiate lol
That sounds pretty cool actually.
Im imagining it, him doing the thing were he teleports back, then blasting off would be sick.
Also Derailed Thread my bad
Provide an option for reload to not be interrupted by skills etc. On my connection, I am constantly interrupting reloads on Mell and Reyna because the actual clip refill takes effect a smidge after the animation finishes.
And get rid of all the broken reloads with Mell’s gun in particular. Clip not filling, canister not firing, and so on.
I Feel like Mellka’s Skill activation to actually happening time needs to be faster. It is annoying when you die activating a skill that doesn’t happen right after you press it, and when you hop into the game (respawn time is lower, start of match), the skill is on cooldown although it never happened. However, there have been times where this nuissance is handy, whereas it doesn’t start cooldown if pulled or stunned in this timeframe, alowing for a not stoppable mellka.
I actually really enjoy the idea behind this, and perhaps activating it at full charge immediately gives him an overshield as well. Attikus is still the only character with a “stacks” system that gets no benefit from a partially full set of stacks (at least until level 5).
The slight wind-up on Spike kinda bugs me too, because my lag makes it worse and forces me to do way too much target leading for a point-blank skill.
A lot of characters could do with some tweaks to animation length. coughmikocough
I have a nasty habit of doing this. Like all the time. It’s a major DPS nerf
The Deande change gives me hope. Not much, but enough. Not for Mellka though. That’s too complicated of course (I’m being really sarcastic today)
I’d be quite content with that. I wouldn’t even mind if it didn’t give you anything, it simply removed one, maybe even two charges. The intent from my side for such a change is after all to give the player some form control over the stacks. While I recognised it as the biggest buff out of the ones I listed, I still thought would’ve made Attikus more viable. But with this change instead you’d still have to go for at least one kill or two to get that empowerment.
As far as Toby goes, I don’t think it’d be too game-changing. My intent with such a tweak wouldn’t be to make him more viable, but rather to not have progress lost that’s not accounted for. I could, just in the Attikus example, be just as happy for the boosts to carry over half of the current time. I.e if the time is 6 out of 8 seconds and a boost is used, you already have 3 seconds until the next boost is ready.
Here are my ideas for these types of QoL changes:
Shayne & Aurox- Easier cancel for shayne and aurox stealth. Really difficult to do currently for newer players to the character, removes fun of bouncing out of stealth. Maybe the reload button, or something else.
Thorn- Add a progress bar for cursed being applied. Like railgun, but different colors, (you know, green). Will help with efficency of arrows, and a little better for telling. Have it perminatly full when in blighted area if helix is chosen.
Pendals- Be able to go invis like before when TP-ing. Was cool, and really not that inpactfull. Easy to see gas, which is why it would be cool to have it back. Or maybe, during TP hitting reload button adds 3 seconds to TP time, but turns Pendals invis like before.
Miko- While healing, reload actually locks the healing beam on curent target that ends like stealth does (on doing an action, skill or attack. Also disables if too far away from target, like normal.)
Kid Ultra- Using Healing drones while on cooldown pulls them off ground or current target. Pulls all drones Back. Cooldown reduced by 3-5 seconds, depending on amount returned. If both, 4-5 secs. If one, 2-3 seconds. Helps with not revealing stealthed characters and keeping peeps healled slightly, while not littering the feild with more Eye candy. {Is this idea for KU to much for a QoL change? Let me know.}
ALL- Have a way to set sensitivities to the characters, would really help with flow of game.
Yeah. I really find that any and all internet problems make mellka Nearly impossible to use.
I Would like to see all of the characters ‘quick melee’ activate immediately upon hitting the button and canceling what ever action was being performed at the time (reloading, firing). Some characters do it but most you have to hit the button twice or three times to get it to work. Very annoying.
I also would like to have the ability to change the color of my cross-hairs to a color i can see clearly. This would help a lot of people i think.
Weird, quick melee seems to have the priority for me pretty much always. Can’t come up with a character who doesn’t do so?
I’d like to see Friendly Fire enabled in Battleborn - cute, little change that’d affect my quality of life a bit
You have never seen Eden play Mellka.
I am speaking for ‘Majority’ Mellka players, and even she has said that there are a lot of bugs with Mell that other characters don’t have. So yeah, while she and 1 or 2 people may play her well with terrible connection, I (usually yellow or red baring) and many others with bad connection have a much harder time than others using other battleborn on red or yellow bars.
TL;DR I speak for ‘Majority’ Mellka players, and its a pain in the arse due to animation bugs (cough reloads not reloading cough), and it makes it much more difficult to play her than other BB on same connections.
Not sure if intentional or not, but I find it funny that when talking of someone with the username EdenSophia, you still defaulted to ‘he’
But I agree, even on a solid connection Mellka (and Reyna) have weird reload animations that keep glitching out and can make playing a chore. No other character is as bad. I don’t even want to think about playing as them on anything below a green bar… My sympathies
Oh Sh*t, whoops. Will fix. Thanks for pointing it out.
the correct pronoun is always “attack helicopter”
