Small Quality of Life BL3 Suggestion

I have small suggestion to speed up farming, adding an (optional) hotkey to reset the map and respawn the boss.
For example, if you killed Graveward, and pressed whatever key this would be binded to, the map will reset automatically and Graveward would respawn.

Couldn’t agree more. Save quitting is a PITA on PC, I can only imagine how much more painful it must be for console players. A bigass [Reset Boss/Zone/Level] button would be really useful, I think.

How would people feel about a reset button appearing after a boss is defeated. Personally as a console player this would make the game way more engaging and farming a lot less tedious.

Save/Quit boss farming. A gaming mechanic of yesteryear

Quiting out of the entire game in order to repeatedly farm a particular boss, mob or area is an outdated and antiquated game mechanic that really needs to go. Ok, some more QoL changes that could be added (renewed for M 2.0)

I wonder why this hasn’t been mentioned before but… Ability to reset Bosses. Its pretty tiresome when one have to / want to farm for a dedicated drop and always has to save quit. I’m aware that we can now reset rare spawns but if you are on the lookout for queens or kings call for example it takes lots of time. And the fact that if you quit a lobby u have to invite your friends all over makes farming even more tedious.

Big Eridium Spend is Coming?

Howza bout this… Every boss gets a pedestal outside their arena and you can pay a sum of Eridium to assure you get annointed and dedicated drops, while also resetting the boss so you don’t have to save and quit constantly. The ability to just add any annoint to any gun garunteed would remove the chase for good guns and that is against the borderlands way of things. Gearbox need to add a Respawn Boss option on console

Farming is the bane of Borderlands games if you play on console. With a standard PS4 it takes upto 1min 30 secs to quit and reload a level when farming bosses and this is just crazy. I think Gearbox should add a Respawn boss option to consoles if possible. It would be an ON/OFF option in the menu meaning if ON you can only play to farm bosses with respawns and nothing else. So I don’t think it’s news to anyone that money and eridium is kind of pointless in the endgame, and it’d be nice if there was some use for it. I agree with the OP and @jbow2020 - this definitely is something that has been mentioned many, many times in these forums. It is kind of mystifying that there is not a better way to farm than the old save/quit method. It takes forever on console.

A way to see a list of all loot currently on the map, and a way to clear it would be nice too.

The best part is that they ALMOST got it working in the Slaughter arenas. If you start a new round, the barrels and chests (and maybe other things) respawn. With a press of a button. No need to even reload the area.

This would be really cool and I hope they do it in time. I’ve been playing this game for a year on PS4 and the main thing I’m looking forward to in the next generation of consoles is faster consoles. Now that’s saying something, and I’m not sure it’s good

While we’re at it, how about not dumping people out in multiplayer. So you reset it and they just stay connected like when fast traveling. Having to quit to the lobby and come back in is a pain…having to rejoin every time is worse IMO.
