Actually it is pretty crap, but I like playing around with it at low levels. Good for goofing around.

Ok good I thought you were crazy for a second :smirk:

I don’t have an opinion actually.

I’d say this right here^ only from watching vids of it being used for launch enemies or yourself for that matter. I haven’t used it, myself.

I was hoping you would say something that triggered jefe :joy:

I’m pretty sure I did. :smirk:

my last sentence I thought would spark something out of Jefe. How can I be a collector if I haven’t used the landscaper, kinda crap.

I have a bad aim, and the spread patterns helps with that.:rofl:

from a build perspective, I’d take Immolate over Blight Phoenix and Ward over KR, otherwise you have a pretty standard Binder/subsequence build… It’s not like those preferences matter a great deal as, again, the base of the build is the normal subsequence build. From a gear perspective, I just run with the Blockade, never really tried the Cracked Sash as the Blockade has a maybe a half second or so longer delay and much greater capacity… I can see how the cracked sash could work if you were careful in your playstyle and you are sniping, so it makes sense that you are not up close…I prefer the magic missiles with most characters just because I don’t have to worry about grenade ammo and I like the homing action to tell me where enemies taking cover are… Especially with Maya, I have converge to keep enemies off of me so I don’t generally need a Quasar…that said, the quasar is probably her most popular option for a reason

Fair points but

Just because it’s popular doesn’t mean it’s always best, with converge there’s really no need for quasars in the first place

Just finished siding with the Hodunks. My farm begins… :acmaffirmative:

@giffmagic would like to see a clip of you showcasing your various builds with Axton, Maya and Zero.

I disagree; Quasars strip shields almost instantly while dragging in enemies in that are out of Converge’s range, for one thing.

( ok, there are lots of emojis )

I’m a pretty experienced Maya player and I don’t use the Quasar, so I’m certainly in the “it’s not necessary with Converge” camp too… That said, Maya players with far more experience/expertise like Derch use it and it’s probably the one I see mentioned the most amongst Maya players in general…It makes sense if you are good with managing your grenades, especially with a subsequence build, you might not have a phaselock ready or the bubble may be away from your area and not converging something off of you (which is rare, but it does happen in big, open maps), so you want that extra CC in that case, plus the shield strip is nice for beefier targets… Fortunately as we all know, there’s no “best” in this game, only “best” for certain things and a lot of those are debatable too
