People who snipe out the Sentry are morons anyway. You get more xp/credits for longer matches than you do a quick sentry win. Makes no sense. Moment I see a Marquis on the other team on Overgrowth, we just FF so he doesnt get any reward.

The sentry exploit can give you nice, long games… it can also give you a risk-free way to win those games… the people doing it have no impact, they risk nothing, they’re not even playing, they’re just sitting in a corner pulling a trigger, and they can WIN the game for their team.
Glad to hear Gearbox is going to make people actually have to play to win.

It’s worth noting that this issue has gotten so bad that I’m not even going to bother with incursion until it’s fixed, sadly.

It is not the ledge that is the issue, that is counter-able. It is them sniping from the back base with the supply station.

You cleary haven’t played as Toby much (or at all), so allow me to enlighten you on his powers, because i main him. First, as many here have already stated, only Marquis’ head needs to show over the balcony for him to shoot over it, whereas Toby needs to show the top half of his body; so you are already at a huge disadvantage, shootout-wise. Second, either Toby’s heart piercer does NOT shoot through the balconies (believe me, i’ve tried), or my game is broken. Third, Marquis will down Toby’s shield in 2-3 shots (double with the room for mistakes mutation), and launching a mine at the enemy balcony only deters him for the 2-3 seconds it takes to back up and destroy it. I usually have a 4-0 K/D with Toby, and a skilled Marquis is his bane, because he will outshoot you and prevent you from setting up shop at almost every turn. So Toby is out of your “counter” list. Also, since i outshoot almost every ISIC i encounter as well, and am a bigger target than a Marquis, i’m guessing he’s out too. Another Marquis, or pushing the balcony, are the ONLY counters; which is simply not right.

This comment might make sense if you could actually see your team selections and plan around it like a draft, but you can’t, which makes this whole point invalid.
